  • We all have those days every once and a while. You can't dwell over it. Tomorrow is a new day! Sometime when I have a high calorie day like that. I will do extra cardio the next day. That always makes me fell better about the small set backs. Best of luck you, Kelly! :flowerforyou:
  • Try to drink a lot of water through out the day and eat foods high in fiber. It will take your body about a week to get use to the change. But I've heard it takes 3 weeks to get rid of a bad habit. Hang in there! Kelly :flowerforyou:
  • This is one of the reasons I stopped coming on the message board and posting. I use to ask questions that were related to eating, exercise...ect! But it seem liked if you weren't playing around nobody would respond. It got boring and became a waste of time to even post anything. I still read posts, but very rarely comment…
  • hahah don't we all wish we could rid our weaknesses? It seems like there is always that one temptation that is almost impossible to walk away from! Mine is chocolate..YUM! I've learned to have it as a special treat every once in awhile! So I'm sure if you have CS every once in a while, then go dance for about 3…
  • Yes you can down grade to a shuffle and still use your same music on your itunes. I have an ipod touch, but my husband has the shuffle. I'm the one that put the music on them (hubby isn't into all the tech stuff, he just wants music  ) I noticed with the shuffle I had to actually highlight the songs in the library…
  • OH MY GOODNESS! The peppermint mocha's are to die for....you are right! There is a Starbucks 1/2 mile from my house and I'm such a good girl and hardly ever go there, but this time of year...YES so tempting! I have to admit I will have one occasionally on the weekend. My co-workers won't allow me to have caffeine (I tend…
  • Ok a while back someone posted about an energy/weight loss drink and for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I know if I saw the name again I would recognize it. When I read the post months ago I knew the name and remember looking in Raley's, Walmart...ect, but couldn't find it. I think you can only find it…
  • You're off to a good start! Way to go! We look forward to hearing your success along the way! Kelly :flowerforyou:
  • I work in surgery and I've been a patient as well (6 times LOL)! It's really not that bad! I guess I can say this because I have always known what to expect. An old coworker and I use to joke about not have the same nerves about surgery as the common person, either because we knew too much or we're just really stupid.…
  • Sacramento valley California
  • I should of hired your guys haha! My husband wanted to hire someone. He didn't think I would do a good job. He apologized for weeks once he saw how good I did. It really is hard work, but for some reason it was relaxing at the same time! I love to paint!
  • OH HECK YAH it's a killer workout hahah! A few years ago my husband was working out of town off and on for 8 months in Colorado (we live if California). So I decided to paint the house while he was gone. It was alot of work, moving furniture, taping, touch ups, baseboards, clean ups...ect! especially trying to get to the…
  • Great info... This can come in handy for those HOUR hikes and LONG bike rides as well! Kel~
  • I'm not sure if the steel cut oats will get soggy? I have never had that problem. The way I prepare my oats it usually makes enough for 4 days, as long as I put it in an air tight container. I do like the texture of the steel cut vs. regular oatmeal. Regular oatmeal can turn to paste if you cook them too long..YUCK!…
  • I normally do my spinning class outside on the open road  But for the winter months I might take up indoor spinning again. I use to do the class a few times a week. It really was fun with the right trainer.
  • it's suppose to be 3 cups water, 1 cup oats. But I do 2 cups water, 1 cup fat free mile, 1 cup oats and add some grounded flaxseed after it gets done cooking. I highly suggest you make it stove top, but if you use milk watch it carefully it will boiler over FAST! I LOVE MY STEEL CUT OATS
  • have you tried taking flaxseed capsules? I hear that the Omega 3 is suppose to be good for your hair and nails? Check out your local health food stores they may have some suggestions as well.
  • A piece of sugar free gum? I know that is 5 calories! I'm trying to help LOL! I'm actually -7 tonight....which NEVER happens! LOL! I usually have 500 or more left at night!
  • Chicken breast and avocado sandwich... Ok this might have a little more calories than you would want, but I love avocado on my sandwiches. here is how I like it.... toasted whole wheat sub roll, grilled chicken breast, sliced tomato, sliced avocado, green leaf lettuce dijon mustard and light mayo...OMG YUMMY! But…
  • I would get hooked up with the NuvaRing or something that he wouldn't be able to hide, but other than doing things like that maybe you guys should sit down and have a long talk about the issue. Good luck to you, Kelly!
  • It is very frustrating. Oatmeal, rice, pasta and beans can be that way too. A 1/2 cup uncooked rice is a HUGE difference from a 1/2 cup rice cooked! Best of luck to you, Kelly
  • I was going to ask that same question hahah! I want one! I noticed they were using them last season, but never mentioned them until this season. Guess last year was the trial period, now it's the promotional season? I'm getting one hahaha! Kelly
