  • For a while I was on a kick of whole wheat waffles (frozen cooked in the office toaster) with peanut butter smeared on top. I usually eat breakfast at my desk too.
  • My husband reads the series, so starting last night I was a single parent. ;) Anyways, DH said he wasn't as disappointed with the second to last book as he thought he would be, he's also read more of Brandon Sanderson's books and become a fan of his. My opinion, I've only read the first book, some of the books in the…
  • 'Sadie Hawkins Dance' -Haven't heard that song in a long time! Awesome But my favorite clothes song is The Sweater Song by Weezer,
  • I also use RunKeeper along with a Polar HRM, but in a few minutes I'm testing out Runtastic since it now syncs with MFP. I like RunKeeper, pretty accurate, but the five minute update got annoying and sometimes I missed out on the song or podcast I was listening to.
  • that is interesting information. I prefer white eggs because those are most convenient at the store. However, I always view brown eggs as 'homegrown eggs' because I remember when my grandmother kept chickens their eggs were brown. I know it all depends on the chicken, but when I was little I observed white eggs in the…
  • Hm, I never really thought about this... I bought the same model for men (I am a woman) because I liked the color better, and it was cheaper. The sensors sit on my rib cage. I'm sure the accuracy wouldn't change much if the sensors were off a little.
  • I work in the Charleston area and went to WVU! Last year I lost 20 pounds then six months ago it started to come back, soooo guess I'm starting again.
  • Momma of three here, currently looking for more friends. I'm learning support helps (who would have thought??) I'm almost 27 and while my goal is set at 1200 I always eat more due to exercise cals.
  • I wanted to chime in too. I calculated my body fat % using all three calculators on the fat2fit website. The military calculation showed a percentage in the 40s while the other calculators showed a percentage well below 30. Logically it seems like the calculation that requires more measurements would be more accurate, but…
  • I'm curious to hear what others think, especially since this morning I saw a commercial for Chuck E. Cheese with an entire family using (what looked like) 3-5 lb weights in front of a TV. The two kids looked to be about 10-12. My children are all under 3, so this is in the back of my mind, but I'm still curious. I do…
  • My husband and I feel the same way, we'll probably do what we did with Harry Potter and just wait a weekend or two.
  • not harsh... and I totally agree. I'm especially not a "working person"
  • I've used RunKeeper and really like it, my friend just posted on facebook about another running app related to zombies. I think its called Zombie,Run! and its plays music and sounds like zombies are following and plays police reports about zombie attacks. I'm not sure how great it is for actual running, but it sounded…
  • I'm a mother of twins, one boy one girl and they are so different. They are only two but already they take care of each other, sharing toys, food and hugs and kisses when one is upset. They also fight and take each other's toys, but I try to focus on the good times. :o)
  • I'm still working at it. I'm on....thinking.....Level 2 day 5! I did day five this morning. The planks are killing me, I think I hate them now.
  • I'm close to Ohio, I live in WV. It was very shocking to hear about the shooting so close, but more shocking that the news articles are reporting the shooter choose people at random.
  • I started it today, phew it was a hard 20 minutes. its still shocking to me that I feel the same after 20 minutes with 30DS as I did after 40 minutes of Zumba.
  • I have a 3yo and b/g twins that will be 2 in Feb. I wake up at 5 every morning to workout and try to be as active with them as I can. I've lost all my baby weight, but now I'm working on the weight I gained while in college.
  • I felt the same way, still seems like a great show though.
  • I have the old Zumba DVDs... They came 4 in a set and there is only one I like. I'm thinking about getting the newer DVDs, but not sure if I want to spend the money. I have a 10 minute Solutions with Pilates DVD I really like. Great when I don't have a lot of time.
  • Hm, can I join in? I do Zumba 5-6 times a week and have lost 2 pant sizes since July. So here are my stats I think this started 10-12-11 weight: 200 Chest- 37 Right Bicep- Left Bicep- Waist- 35 Belly Button- 40 Hips- 42.5 Right Thigh- Left Thigh- Neck- Right now my workout routine is as follows MWF: 20 min Zumba high…
  • Two week ago my size 14s were snug (but I hadn't been able to wear them since before I had kids 3.5 years ago) and today they are loose!!! Its a great feeling to be comfortable in my clothes, its even better to be comfortable in my pre-pregnancy clothes.
  • I started in the summer and I used to get a BK Mocha Joe every morning. 290 calories. I stayed within my calorie range every day, but eventually I bought them less frequently and I decided I didn't wan to 'spend' that many calories on something that didn't fill me up very much. So, go ahead if thats what you want, but if…
  • My mom used to give me a grape when I was little, now I'm slightly grossed out by that... they weren't even washed! Once, while shopping with my husband and son (and pregnant with twins) I had to run (waddle) and grab a ginger ale to sip. I figured they could be a little peeved with me for drinking w/o paying, since I…
  • When I get a craving for cookies I eat Nature's Valley Oats and Honey granola bars with a glass of milk. I dunk the granola bar in milk to make it soft, and to me its just like eating milk and cookies.
  • I made whole wheat pizza last weekend, after two pieces I was STUFFED, less than 400 cals for both pieces, so even if you had three you'd be under 700. Anything with beans or whole wheat fills me up fast.
  • I've had twins... so my belly has really stretched. I lost ten pounds and my belly was really saggy, my stretch marks became more noticeable too. Since I've been exercising and doing lots of crunches and core workouts, I've noticed a difference in my belly. Its less saggy and a little tighter. I hope this is working, but…
  • I've always looked skinnier than I actually am, some nurse once said 'You hold your weight really well' My scale said 207 this morning, I'm 5'7" and my size 16s are starting to feel loose on me. In high school I was about 180 and I wore size 13.
