hi,
i just started my C25K. on wk 2.
while i was out doing my run this morning. i sorta know how far i go. i have driven the car to check. but, some days i go further and maybe 2 times around a circle. or down different streets. some days i just want to keep going, so i do.
so, i am looking for an app that will tell the the distance. i don't need maps or anything like that. my phone doesn't have GPS. (pay feature). don't need times.
i have done some looking online and have found the following.
cardio trainer, run keeper, run tastic, run star. does anyone know of others i can check out or has anyone tried these.

thanks......

    mapmyrun
  • I use endomondo, but I'm not sure how it would work without GPS. I've used Run Keeper before as well...it was pretty good.
  • i use mapmyrun... both just online mapping after or before, and an app on my phone

I used MapMyRun before, not bad but I ended up switching to RunKeeper. However I still use MapMyRun if I didn't have the phone and I want to get my distance.

I've used RunKeeper and really like it, my friend just posted on facebook about another running app related to zombies. I think its called Zombie,Run! and its plays music and sounds like zombies are following and plays police reports about zombie attacks. I'm not sure how great it is for actual running, but it sounded funny.
