the doc and dietician told me weekly, weighing everyday gives you false readings due to fluctuation in body fluid etc, it could discourage you if you dont see a change or what you want to see. whatever way you choose to go do your measurements too cause sometimes you can lose centremeters or inches and it wont necessarily…

thanks heaps for all your responses :smile: from whats been said , im thinking, i might be leaning toward p90 to start with and work my way up to p90x, ill look up a little more on the p90 program tonight. the results ive seen from p90x are amazing though a lot had less belly than i do lol. ill let you know what i decide…

yes i was a bit concerned with the extra equiptment for the p90x especially the chin up bar :/ . the cost and whether it will fit the door and ummmm just doing a chin up lol.

ok thanks. im looking at others now too, tony horton stuff, 10 min trainer, P90 and P90X so confusing which to start with :/ but ive seen heaps of you tube reviews and they seem to really work and not a money waster.

i use sugarless sachets. they dont have the bitter taste some others do. i like it. though i use splenda in cooking on occasion

yep porridge, weetbix and special k though i dont like it. but they are all good. anything with low GI. :smile:

remember you will gain muscle when you exercise, try taking your measurements instead or as well. you may be losing cm or inches but not showing on scale due to muscle and fluid. fortnightly is good.

i have one on the back of my head, cant see it of course because of my hair but silver hair grows out of it :/ lol luckily its covered by more of my hair so its not obvious. apparently its meant to be lucky , im yet to discover why :P

my daughter has one on the back of her leg just above the knee, i dont know how many times i changed her bottom and tried to rub it off thinking it was poo lol. everytime id realise but i still did it again lol

i wouldnt go too far under 1200 our body needs a minimum just to survive and you dont want to slow down metabolism like you said. but if it evens out over the week some days under and some over , then i wouldnt worry too much aobut it. just get close to it. i dont know what your diary is like but maybe smaller meals more…

i had a looky too, and maybe there are some days you dont seem to be eating much and not spreading calories out throughout the day, you may be feeling deprived sometimes. i admit im from austalia so there are some foods i see in diaries and i have absolutely no idea what they are lol. but i just think you could be eating…

have a weekend of doing what you want, not worrying about calories, then get back on track monday. might just need a reminder of how fatty food makes you feel like crap lol but then you could also enjoy a few things. and i agree also start an activity to spice it up and even find some new recipes to try when back to it.…

i agree she may be feeling critizised and insecure, however she could be a little more supportive of you. but dont let it discourage you, they are her issues and you cant let that determine your success . keep at it , eventually she may come round but if not just keep going and love her for her. hopefully for her health…
