i chose the koshari-the kids seemed appreciative.

I loved mine BUT I switched to garmin in December, which syncs directly. MD suggested I count steps and get over 4-5 miles per day. it's not enough incentive to MAKE me change my habits and walk more, so I'm not sure if I like it better or not.

the long story is, I was stabilized on the med, lost weight, but we didn't adjust the dose fast enough and I stalled. all the advice here said to up calories and reset....well that was a bust since my body started holding on to everything I ate.. now it's a long slog...disgusted with the no lose situation,I killed the…

well when you've been stalled for years, the endocrinologist says it's suddenly difficult to dose your synthroid and 'we're working on it', it only makes sense to color with every crayon in the box. Cutting out artificial sweeteners is one tool. and your snark isn't appreciated. what happened to the 'hide' button

I saw an article a few months back that said artificial sweeteners go straight to your liver and your liver spends so much time breaking them down its ability to process sugars and fats is adversely affected. I can't find it again, but it makes sense to me.

it's all about the Flash peeps.. and uhh. no thanks.

Loose Skin. but I'm kind of proud of it after all these years.

PEEPS baby. chocolate marshmallow eggs a close second. Peeps with the bottoms dipped in chocolate slay me. and today or tomorrow I'll bake easter breads and rice pies... rice pie is better than candy!

I was hoping for personal favorites

I'm a night eater. I have to save 400 to 500 calories. I've posted this before but I think my body is telling me to eat like an Italian. but that's really hard...
-
well the label says 45 calories... you really can't beat that.
-
hopin I have some for today

my 2 cents. my thyroid was out of whack for a while. it's stabilized but I was retaining EVERYTHING I ate too. tired of fiddling around I had to try something different, so I cut out all artificial sweeteners... no sweet n low, no diet pepsi. and in 2 weeks I'm losing again...I can't say for sure if it's the sweeteners or…

on another note, I'm not having any difficulty at all not eating popcorn at night (my go -to snack)
-
right now, since I quit artificial sweeteners, I need things to flavor tea and coffee. if it's a good Jamaican coffee, one teaspoonful of granulated (all I have in the house right now-but I have to shop later today)is fine. otherwise, I like 2 tsps and that started to raise calories when you drink as much coffee as I do.…

this new 30cal silk almond milk SUCKS. it has an odd taste that isn't noticeable with the 40 cal that this replaced at my grocery. Do they still make 60 cal? I could cut it with water. This is depressing because I was really liking the taste of almond milk before they fiddled with it. I might have to try skim! gaaaa..

dead thread I know, but I recently gave up artificial sweeteners. now I really gotta get on this white/brown thing
-
none for me. I like pepperoni, sausage and sopresatta

local fish fries around here usually have halushki, pierogis, mac and cheese-just watch portions.. I kind of try to fast on Fridays-2 light snacks and a meal smaller than normal after sundown
-
i'm around 1300 calories per day... usually around 500 for biggest meal because I like to snack at night
-
my 2 cents. I found an article last week that I canNOT relocate-that said artificial sweeteners go straight to your liver. your live then works to metabolize them so it's not doing its real work of breaking down and storing fats and sugars and food. I stopped them all last saturday.. we'll see how it goes

I ate half.. there's probably 3 ounces of diced beef.. lots of peas and carrots, a nice gravy... I never noticed it with the chicken pies, but the crust seemed fattier than usual... weighing down a bit. I counted about 475 cals I think
-
yes. top and bottom crust. it's a thick crust. made at a specialty store-just have to re-heat. they usually have chicken and this is the first beef I've found. the chicken ones probably have about 4 ounces of meat in them... I'm guessing the same for beef. there will probably be potato and nice veggies. thick gravy..t hank…

FINALLY. something that doesn't look incredible to me. I not a huge fan of putting killer good fish on a bun... unless I'm on vacation in a place where they use snapper like lunchmeat... the tuna does look great...sans bun!
