Love all of these! My 1st 10 - 15 mins are the hardest and then I feel awesome and like I'm flying! That is usually followed by "oh christ I'm going to die"...repeat for about 50 mins! If I'm lucky I don't think of anything - my mind goes clear and I guess this is what meditation is like? But otherwise towards the end its…

Clean underwear! And a slap of basic moisturiser. A shower. My glasses or contacts (screwed without them) and a hair tie.

Another C25k lover here...yes it is hard work, yes you will wonder WHY on EARTH you are putting yourself through this but trust me, you will love it! As a note, you can listen to your own music on the c25k...all you need…

Or get a shampoo designed for sun+swin+gym type? I don't know if they work but worth a try?

I have 2, one on each shoulder blade. On my right is 4 paw prints - apparently I'm quite "feline" and it meant quite a lot to me when I had it done On my left is a design that started as a doodle in the pub. I asked my friend for the design and after it was done, destroyed the original. The only way someone will have the…

Just come out - it is not as scary or as weird as you think - your parents will still love you. Re-think your degree choice - it will not be of any use! Seek help. You are depressed not mad. Listen to your mother...no matter how annoying/wrong you think she is. You are not fat...but you do need to watch your weight young…

Just keep at it...I did the c25k...never actually completed it before my 1st 5k race but you can do it. Run until you can't then walk til you can. It will take a while for the feeling that your stamina is better...but just look back...could you have done week 4 4 weeks ago? Probably not...therefore you have improved!…

I run every other day for 30-35 minutes with a longer of about an hour at the weekend, I work in a bar 2-3 nights a week and we have to clean from top to bottom at the end of every shift and I've just started walking to work/home again (1.2 miles each way) Compared to how I used to be i.e. never ran, never walked if I…

number 4 - if it's a work thing and you have said its a conservative event, the black demure dress is never going to let you down. Add some good shoes, a little bit of discrete jewellery and you'll be good to go! Good luck x

Just sold (yesterday!) my 06 Golf...and feel so much happier now I am carless. Less money worries = less stress = happier me!

I wasn't "qualified" at the time so it was more of an au pair type job for a very wealthy family...the kids were lovely...the parents not so. I was a glorified cleaning lady ultimately and it was a stop gap job for 3 months or so. Not sure I'd ever go back to it, as much as I love kids...it's the parents who need the…

Not sure I count, but I used to be a nanny/au pair type person...

Had a couple of them but only last year did I do something positive about it... The first one was about 2 years ago...in the Gap and none of the jeans fit, not even the biggest size they do. I got angry and blamed the jeans...went home and panicked about my size. The went to the Lighter Life people, paid money I didn't…

THIS! I run like the Fonz (its hilarious watching me run...) and I've stopped getting numb hands. Win.

Bumping this back up...come on lovely people...spread the word and have a giggle at our exploits in the mean time!

Thank you runbyme xx

I guess I'm just a little sensitive about "that word"...doesn't help that I've been going through a stressful stage in my life and the guy in question is a complete asshat! We have a silent signal behind the bar when he comes in...and we draw straws who gets to serve him. Makes the night a little more interesting though!

Once in a blue moon - had fights growing up with my parents, I wanted to wear it, my parents didn't. My dad always told me I was beautiful without it and my mum said it was for grown ups only. Now? I'll wear it for the following occasions: - major work meetings/social events with work - weddings and even then it is the…

I shower at home in the morning, when I run at work I have a shower at work. Note to self: Remember to LOCK the shower room door when in the shower...stupid woman!
