I am doing pretty good. My girls have been going throught the whole nightmare stage so I am not getting much sleep so it is taking its toll on my workouts. However I have done ok so far. I love the last line of your message. I am learning to pay attention to me. As a mom I struggled w/ this for quite some time and still do.

My Easter was the same way

Welcome to the group and I just have to say that your post made me chuckle. I think it is good to keep your sense of humor while going on this journey :)

I accomplished my 10 miles on Saturday and man let me tell you what. I did a mix of inside/treadmill running and outside/pavement running and the outside running kicked my butt. I don't quite know why but man it did. I am proud that I accomplished that and I think we will keep this trend going.

Yay! I am so proud of you. I was that way the first time I went to a store that specialized in running shoes but I think so many times when we are bigger we build up situations like this in our heads. At least I know I do. I always think they are going to say or think negative things about me so that I strengthen my skin.…

I have been stuck in that same rut. I have been working out but only losing less then a pound every week. I am going to just take a deep breath, know that what I am doing is good for me and my body, and let things balance out.

I will make sure to keep your family in my prayers. However; in my opinion you work harder staying at home w/ your son then some people do all day. I give stay at home moms all the credit in the world.

Lissa- I don't blame you for having that wish. I lost a bunch of weight before getting pregnant w/ my twins. I am happy I did b/c I did face some problems that I think would have only been worse if I was heavier. I wish you all the luck in the world. Where there is a will there is a way.

I wish for my two girls to grow up happy, and healthy and with a great body image. I try and be careful not to project my own weight insecurities onto them. I want them to just be healthy and happy. What more can I wish for.

How is everyone doing today. I am at 4.5 miles and I still have a lot left to do. It is hard with my husband out of town.

I am wondering if maybe your shoes don't fit right. I have been running for quite some time now (on week 6 of C25K) and I have never had a blister yet. Did you go somewhere to get measured for the shoe or did you just buy them from a box store. I would try going to an athletic shoe store and talking to one of their sales…

I think you are safe w/ the house cleaning. As for the cravings I keep telling my husband I am saving so much money by changing my habbits b/c I am so the person who would of went and got pizza.

If there is still room I would love to take part in this challenge.

I read an article today about Allison Sweeney (Sammy Brady on Days of Our Lives and host of Biggest Loser) and she is a busy working mother and I love what she said about her exercise time. Every week she looks at her schedule and writes in her time to get a run in or go to the gym. That way there is no thought behind it…

Hello Linda I am about the same make up. I am 5' 11" and 305 when I started. I agree with what Lissa said MFP is a great way to start. It gives you support and keeps you accountable. I can always tell when I have had a not so good day eating/exercising wise and a factor is usually that I didn't get on MFP all day. Find an…

IF you are seeing the inches go then you are doing something right. I almost wish that MFP would show that to. I feel like my inches is so much more impressive then my weight. Just remember everyone's body is different and muscle weighs more then fat.

Seems so easy yet every time I challenge myself to do it I lose.
