Runners! Beginners, C25K'ers, vets, let's hear those 5K times. I measured a 5K route and did C25K W4D1 today, with a finish time of 39:23 (that's including a 10 minute warm up brisk walk too). As I'm a beginner, I have no idea if that's good, bad or ugly, so how's everyone else's time?

What's with the sore shins??
I'm on Week 2, Day 2 of Couch 2 5k, and my shins are KILLING ME! I have good quality, fairly new running sneakers, but my shins start to THROB after about 10 minutes of jogging. Is there anything I can do to fix this situation?

Left over cals??
Okay so I burned 400 and some calories today walk/jogging, and I have about 400 calories left over tonight. Should I eat these calories? I'm into my last 11 pounds, so I have to be careful to not go into starvation mode. Any advice? Farmerswife87
