Garmin Vivoactive question
I've been wearing this watch everyday for almost 2 years and I have never seen this display. I walk dog so I am constantly turning my watch on and off to measure the distance... I don't know if I hit a setting to change something but it feels like every 2 or 3 minutes it is vibrating and this equal sign shows up almost…

Garmin vivoactive 3, Fitbit versa, or Samsung active?
I currently have a Garmin Forerunner 25... I just think I need a new toy. Mostly I am just a walker and I like the GPS and the distance tracker, I also like seeing how many steps I get in a day (even though I know that's not really accurate) on occasion I will go jogging or ride a bicycle... My current watch doesn't have…

Recipes to other recipes
I wasn't sure which category to put this question under so I'm trying here... Is there a way to add a prior recipe as an ingredient to a new recipe?? For example I am making a baked French toast using homemade bread this morning, it's only part of the loaf... it was hoping I could just list the bread as an ingredient…

unsolicited advice
So... I've been doing this weight loss, healthy eating, lifestyle thing for awhile (since 2006) I know what I need to do for my body to lose weight and/or maintain and I'm well aware that what works for me and my lifestyle is not the same as what works for everyone else. At the moment, I am on my way down (again) lost 14…

HRM with GPS suggestions
OK - so, for years I used a Polar F-11... and I also had a Fitbit One, which I thought was fun for about two weeks and then just thought was a pain in the butt so went back to my F-11. Anyway, it's been years gone by and I'm getting back into running, walking & bicycling again. I really think I'd like to get a new one that…

Bacon?
Does anyone know if the nutritional information on a package of bacon is based on cooked or raw values? I know there is a difference in weight for other meats as to cooked and raw values, and mostly 3 ounces of cooked is about the same as 4 ounces of raw - but bacon?? Well, it's mostly fat and loses much more in weight…

Steel-cut oatmeal cookies?
I'm trying to find a yummy recipe for oatmeal cookies that uses steel cut oats. I've searched the net, and can't find any that have really good reviews - nuts are okay, chocolate is okay, dried fruit is okay - in fact, the more different the better! I am not looking for a low-fat or healthy recipe necessarily, just…

10K race
I think I'm insane... last weekend I registered for a 10K race that takes place next Saturday. I have barely run for over 2 months! Do you think about food 24/7/365?
I do. My world revolves around food and it drives me insane. When I wake up I want to eat immediately, while I'm eating I'm planning what I'll eat later for lunch and dinner - all day I'm thinking about what I want for a snack and what I should and shouldn't eat.... I even dream about food and cooking! Is something wrong…

2 years for me this month on MFP
Just thought I'd mention.... I've been on MyFitnessPal for 2 years this month. I've gained a few pounds since then and lost a few too- but am pretty much the same weight as when I started (which is down 53 pounds from my highest weight in 2006) Does that mean I'm doing well or doing poorly?? Sometimes I want to beat myself…

I've decided I want to get a dance game for my Wii.... My 13 yr old wants an ipod touch for Christmas and I don't really want to drop $200+ on one as every other MP3 player she's had ended up destroyed in a few months.
