Garmin Vivoactive question

I've been wearing this watch everyday for almost 2 years and I have never seen this display. I walk dog so I am constantly turning my watch on and off to measure the distance... I don't know if I hit a setting to change something but it feels like every 2 or 3 minutes it is vibrating and this equal sign shows up almost like it's a pause but it seems to still be counting time and distance while it's on and then it will just go off again. I turned my watch completely off and back on and it doesn't seem to have made a difference does anyone know what it is and how I can get it to stop doing it

I figured it out... somehow I turned on auto pause and was it going on and off every few minutes which makes sense since I'm walking dogs and have to wait for them to sniff and poop! lol2
