NSV - Fitting into my favourite dress properly!

Has anyone used chromium picolinate to boost metabolism?
Is using chromium useful in boosting your metabolism or is it all a lot of hog wash? I understand it evens out your insulin levels, but if you're eating regular non-sugar loaded meals would it make a difference?

Whinge about the Australian summer...
Seriously... it's going to be over 40C (106F) on Thursday and Friday. I've been running in the mornings at 24C (72F) at 6am. The thought of exercising just is NOT very appealing at the moment and I think I'm going to find it hard to stay motivated since the worst of summer isn't here yet. Even my gym has a dodgy air…

I started off on MFP at the beginning of January hopeing to lose 7kg. I started eating reasonably well, doing C25K and going to body pump 1-2 times a week. Despite my effort... for the first four weeks my scales DID NOT MOVE! Stagnant. Nothing. Nada. I could tell that I was toning up, and I didn't feel as bloated though.…

Another HRM question...
So I've been thinking about getting one. I would like one that has GPS and can track distance, be suitable for the casual runner (x3 jogs / week) and is relatively accurate with counting calories burned. Any suggestions? (sorry but I tried searching the forums and there's a LOT of confusing info coming back at me)

C25K'ers! Encouragement please...
I'm up to week 3 day 2 tomorrow... and I've just learned that in a couple of weeks I'm going to be running for 20 minutes straight... (I think it's week 5 day 3). Somebody please tell me that they didn't think they'd be able to do 20 minutes straight when they were at my stage! (and preferably got through it)

Can someone explain this NET calorie thing to me.. please?
Sometimes I find it hard to get my head around things... when people talk about NET calories what do they mean? How is this different from the calories that come up under the food section for your target and what you've actually consumed?

cardio exercise and it's effect on male/female hormones?
Does anyone have any information on how exercise effects sex hormones? I've been doing regular cardio exercise for a couple of weeks and I've started to notice that my hair isn't as greasy and my skin is different too. It got me wondering if cardio exercise has an effect on estrogen, progesterone, testosterone etc.

Is it bad to not eat all your calorie intake for the day?
Today I'm having one of those days where I'm going to be about 100 cal off my 1200 cal intake... plus I exercised meaning I'm going to be about 300 cal in deficit. Is this bad?
