Workout Suggestions!
A little background about me. I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 165. I achieved my lowest weight of 140 by eating very low calorie and strictly cardio. I became skinny fat, but at the time I was okay with it. After getting married I find myself up 25 lbs and am not sure what routine I should start with! I'm really wanting to…

Sick and gaining weight?
A little background for the past few days. I've done extremely well all week, aside from my 1 brownie (which was within cals). I've been rotating turbo fire, x3, walking, and insanity this week and hitting my macros (1400-1500 calories) every day as well as staying on top of my water. Yesterday morning I was down a pound,…

Struggling with weight loss. HELP!
I was a big cardio queen when I started at 190. I got obsessed and dropped down to 140 in 6 months. I then got diagnosed with arthritis, so my workout regimen drastically changed and I gained 20 lbs back. I've plateaued at 160 for a while now and can't seem to budge. I've ranged from 1400 down to 600 calories. Even at 600…

I have a question for P90X people?
I have purchased P90X3 for my husband and I, and am curious as if it's for me. Some background info: I'm 5'7" and small frame. I had originally lost 45 lbs (185-140) on cardio alone. Once I hit 140 I stalled for a very, very long time. I did/do Turbo Fire on a regular basis. I tried free weights for two months and gained…

Kicking my butt and no change :(
Here's my background. I initially lost 40lbs (180-140), by all cardio, low calorie. I am small framed and have a goal of 130. At 5'7" I maintained 140 for 2 years, but I wasn't toned and was "skinny fat". I got married almost 1 year ago and gained that "newlywed 10". After Christmas, I decided to up my calories to about…

Why lifting works!
So I was the same as many women on here, afraid to eat higher calories, and afraid of the number on the scale. I was a cardio queen for years! Completed almost 2 full rounds of Turbofire, and completed Insanity without losing an inch or pound. I realized that it was time to change. Two months ago I started lifting free…

Does this detox really work?
Water, cucumber slices, mint leaves, and lemon slices? I've heard a lot about it and was curious as to whether it works or not? Thanks in advance!

Anyone tried Jamie Eason's Livefit Trainer?
I recently started this program last week and I love it! It's also my first time ever getting into weights so I'm excited :) However, I have a question.. is her meal plan really mandatory? Here's a little about me: I am 5'7", last I weighed in at was 153, and I'm 22. I eat TDEE-20% (1900 Calories) and stay at my macros…

Resistance Bands vs. Weights
Is there really a big difference? I have lots of Beachbody video's that use resistance bands, and I'm limited to the weights in my office gym. Will resistance bands burn the same amount of fat that lifting weights would? Thanks in advance!

Am I eating enough?
I am currently almost done with month 2 of Insanity. My stamina and strength has definitely changed but no inches or weight loss. Insanity gave me an intake of 2500 and to lose weight I subtracted 500. I felt like that was too much, so I set it at 1700. I eat at 40% Protein, 40% Carbs, and 20% Fat. About 95%+, I eat clean…

Insanity Question!
I finished month 1 of insanity, and followed the calender. However, after I ran a 10k, got severe pains on the bottom of my foot the day before recovery week. It hurt to the point I couldn't walk on it. So I missed recovery week. The next week came and it still hurt, yet I still pushed through and went for walks. I finally…

Getting discouraged :(
Just thinking and trying to not get too upset, but I'm nervous that I will never lose my belly, lower back, and inner thigh chub :( I'm doing Insanity and I've only completed month 1! No changes yet... I eat well, and all but I'm just nervous that I may not lose it... are there any suggestions ? Maybe foods to avoid, and…

Fancy Greek Yogurt?
I'm looking for some yummy things to add to it. I do the basic fruit and granola, but I'm looking for something new! :) What do you do?

How do you net 1500-1600 calories?!?
My lowest weight was 140. I lingered around there for what seems like forever. My ultimate goal is 130. I tried bumping up my calories to 1500, but with how I exercise I usually net less than 1000, sometimes less than 500. Not because I'm trying too, I just am so full and I don't know how to incorporate that many calories…

A BIG change
So I was sitting here looking through some old pictures on my computer and I came across this... Yuck. I was heavy on top of dating.. well let's just say someone I would have never EVER gone back too. After he dumped me (after talking about Valentine's day plans, and leaving me in the restaurant parking lot) I got super…

Any 5'7" ladies with before and afters?!
I'm 5'7", 145 lbs, and my measurements are 38.5" in the hips, 29" at my waist, and 36" in my bust and I've done no weight training yet, mostly cardio. I'm small frame and have been told that 120-130 is the perfect weight range, but I'm not sure if that's too thin or not. Anybody have similar results or before and afters?

Is 2200 calories too much?!
On the fat2fit website (which has been recommended by many), I calculated my Body fat %, my BMR, and my Goal weight. I chose moderate activity because I workout (usually intense cardio) for at least 40-60 minutes a day 5+ times a week. However it says I should be eating 2220 calories!! I've been eating 1200 for a while…

At home ab exercises that don't cause a pooch?
I would love to tone my stomach, but I feel like when I do crunches, sit-ups or things of that nature my stomach always pooches. Are there any good upper/lower belly toning exercises that have worked for you?

Before and After: After only 1 week!
Again, just by switching back to healthy foods, more water, and exercising everyday. Only 3 lbs may not be a huge difference but definitely a step back into the right direction! :)

5'6.5" and 40 lbs down!
So I was comfortable the way I was.. thought I was healthy. Until my sisters and my mother decided to start losing weight and get healthy. I figured hey, why not.. so I joined them. When I stood on the scale I was shocked! 181! 20lbs away from being 200lbs and only 21 years old. I was embarrassed and ashamed. So I quickly…

Any flat footed people out there!
I have extremely flat/boney/narrow feet and it's hard to find a good pair of tennis shoes. I have a pair of Nike lunar glides and Nike free runs, both of which have a slightly supported arch and my feet move too much in them causing my feet and calves to cramp. Anybody have a good recommendation?

Any good standing exercises ?
I am trying to work on toning my stomach and I don't go to a gym :/ I have both arthritis and fibromyalgia. I also dislocated my hip about two years ago and have had lower back/hip issues ever since. So floor exercises are sort of difficult for me. Does anybody know some good toning workouts I can do?

Need some new friends to help keep me motivated!!
So, I have been down 40 lbs and stuck at about 140 for over a year ! I am proud of how far I've come, more energized and a lot more comfortable in my own skin.. but I have ten more to lose and I keep slacking and getting comfortable and not pushing myself past that mark! I always get inspired when I see everyone's amazing…
