I finally finished X-TrainFit @ Home :D
I have a love/hate relationship with this program. Hour long workouts suck and the 2hr ones at the end are even worse. You know what though, after the first half of the workout I felt great and I felt amazing once I was done with a workout. Anyway, it's time for me to move on to something else. I'm going to be starting…

Dilemma - Some outside thoughts on the matter needed
For starters, I'll explain my workouts and then I'll get down to my dilemma. The workouts: X-TrainFit @ Home 90 Day Program The dvd's involved range from 26 mins to 81mins. Stretch - 26 mins Arms - 49 mins (biceps/triceps/shoulders...most exercises performed with dumbbells...2 sets, first set 1 count, second set 2 count)…

Before & After Photo Challenge - 60 Days
It's not always easy to see the changes that are happening when we look in the mirror. The scale isn't always the best way to judge our progress. One of the best ways I've found to see how far we have come visually is in before and after pictures. So why not join me in a Before and After Picture Challenge? Let's see the…

*happy dance* Currently 0.4lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight..
Which also means that I'm 0.4lbs away from where I left off September of last year. It also puts me in the Overweight section of the BMI (28.9). Just thought I'd share, since I'm overjoyed about it. To get a better idea of where I started this year and where I am now here are some pics: May 27, 2014 (two days before my…

My thoughts on weight loss
The reason I am creating this post is because I’ve had a few requests for tips regarding weight loss. I don't know why people are asking me for tips considering I still have a lot to lose. I am more than happy to share my opinion though and if you don’t agree, well that’s fine to. I make no guarantee that what I am…

I think there is something wrong with me
Maybe my hormones are still out of whack from pregnancy or maybe breastfeeding is just messing with them. I'm sitting here in tears because I ate the last of our stir fry veggies and the last of our tilapia. It's really kind of dumb. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow and yet it still made me cry. On the bright…

Papa John's "The Big Bonanza", calorie help
So we ordered a pizza from Papa John's called "The Big Bonanza." I went to look up the nutritional information and can't find any for it. So any guesses out there or can someone help me find something similar to it? (If no replies, I'll probably just log 500 cals a slice) Pizza in question: Large Original Crust BBQ Sauce…

I actually started working on my weight last year @…

Should I buy it?
So I went looking for a swimsuit today. I haven't officially bought anything yet, but did try some things on. Sadly a lot of the swimsuits I tried on (and can afford) didn't fit up top. I did find this one and I'm not sure if I should buy it or keep looking around: So what do you guys think?

Reasons To Exercise
Fitbit shared this on facebook today and I thought it was pretty interesting. I don't know how much truth there is to what is said, but it seemed plausible. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/24/reasons-to-exercise-health-benefits_n_3314347.html#slide=2481591

Anyone have extended weight loss of over 2lbs a week?
I brought this up about 3.5 weeks after starting MFP, but was brushed off with the "It's just water weight." I have about 66lbs to lose to get to my target weight. This is what has happened: In mid feb (estimate around the 13th, because it was right after I moved) : 225lbs March 13 (started using mfp regularly): 218lbs…

Setting weight on MFP ticker...
So currently, I have my ticker set to the weight when I actively started using MFP which was in March 2013. I actively started working on losing weight around the beginning of Feb or possibly late Jan of 2012. Which means I have lost more than 12 lbs since I started. So I lost a lot of weight last year over a short period…

Can't Decide...
on if I should work out some more today or not. I want to workout, but then again I keep reading how important rest is for your body. I'll give you a little insight into my workouts: Mon & Tues - Cardio Kick Start Program (alternating strength and cardio exercises) in the morning and some form of cardio in the afternoon.…

I think I must be missing something....
Before I go into why I'm so utterly confused, I'd like to point out that I have lost weight, I'm not stuck, and no I am not gaining. Also I joined in November, but didn't start actively using the site until March 13. Today marks day 25 of using MFP. So I'm in 25 days know and have lost 11lbs. :noway: I must have…

Calories burned discrepancy...
Okay so I've been using my HRM to track calories burned and I usually log only 80% of the calories it estimates, but today I got a copy of EA Active 2 and there is a big difference in the estimate. My heart rate monitor is a Sportline Duo (has chest strap) for those who are curious. For those who don't know EA Active 2…

Just Looking for a few friends :)
I joined MFP back in November, but didn't start fully using it till earlier this month. I'd love to have a few supportive friends on here. Last year after I had my son, I started trying to lose weight and work back to a healthier me. I was 260lbs in January last year, which is the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I…

I'm a Calorie Counting Newbie with a few questions
From what I've read on hear getting the TD, ect, is the most accurate/healthy way to lose weight. I want to make sure I've got this right. Me: Female 23 years old 214.2lbs 5'4" So I used this site to come up with body fat % (not sure how accurate it is): http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/mbf/ According to the site: Lean…

Suggestions for good workout videos
I'm looking for good suggestions for workout videos. I'd like some that maybe includes the use of dumbells or resistance bands and some cardio ones. The catch is, I need videos that don't involve jumping/running/ect because I live in a second floor apartment. Any ideas?

How should I calculate calories burned?
I know that no matter how I do it, nothing is going to be 100% accurate. So my question is would my heart rate monitor be more accurate than MFP estimates or should I just use MFP's estimates?

What to do?
I was really sick yesterday and although I tried to eat multiple times the only thing that would stay down was a slice of pizza and some cheerios. I even had trouble keeping water down. So my question comes down to, should I record what I ate even though it came back up or just record the stuff that stayed down?

Hello
Not a very creative subject line I know, but I couldn't think of anything that sounded right. I've had the app on my phone for awhile now, but just recently decided I should actively use it and this is my first time on the website itself. *About Me: I'm a 23 years old, 5ft 4in, and 215lbs. I wasn't always on the heavy…
