Heavy vs Light Weights for Women
I have been doing heavy (well, heavy for me) weights for about 8 weeks and I think I am seeing a difference. I am still about 9 lbs from goal so I am eating at a deficit and hoping to get rid of the fat. I am trying to tell this to my dad, who a long time ago had his personal trainer certification and seems to know alot…

Any hope? :)
Ok, here is the deal...I weigh 127 and I am 5 ft tall so by the looks of the number and what I see in the mirror I would estimate that I have about 15 pounds to lose. Up until last week, I was doing 5 days cardio and 1-2 days strength training machines...I am getting burnt out with the cardio although I would still keep up…

Tonight I am starting a 3 day a week full body strength training routine using free weights, alternating with 2…

Looking for advice to optimize results
I started with MFP about two weeks ago and have had great luck thus far. I have lost about 5 lbs being very strict about my 1200 calories. I have not yet started exercising as I wanted to get the nutrition under control first. I know that in the next couple of weeks that my weight loss will probably slow as I am on the…
