2 weeks off diet and having trouble getting back on track!
Hi there, I knew I would have a rough 3 weeks and wouldn't be able to cook and workout as I normally did. About three weeks ago, I was running daily and eating the best I'd ever eaten- I was doing great and seeing results. Then, I had to start studying very hard core for the bar exam, and knew I'd be sitting, with my butt…

What's with the lack of running speeds available? 6.0 and 6.7 are the only options in the 6s! What about us 6.3 runners? Anyone know how to get around this? Do I just start running faster? :)

Runners! bridge to 10K.. walk breaks?
Hi. I have two questions. First regarding walk breaks, second, regarding pace. First, I recently completed C25K, which in the last few weeks doesn't include any walk breaks. The last day of C25K is obviously, a 5K. I ran my first 5K in about 31.05. Then, I started training with the bridge to 10K. Every session includes…

Insanity, 30Day Shred, P90X

I work out 5 days a week at least, and run, lift weights, etc. I'm hoping to lose another 30 pounds and some inches (the eating has always been the hard part for me!) I hear on these boards that people have excellent results from P90X, Insanity, and the Jillian Michaels videos. Any…

Healthy Chocolate Chip cookies that are DELISH!
I just had to post this. My boyfriend keeps asking for something sweet after dinner, and I don't keep anything sweet in the house (sweets are my kryptonite. Once, my boyfriend's mom baked a blueberry pie for him, and my fridge was bigger, so he asked if he could keep it at my house. In the middle of the night I heard the…

Running: have you had to go backwards in your training?
I am just looking for some good advice here. I successfully completed C25K, then I completed Bridge210K, by early July I was running about 6ish miles everyday, with lots of hills, in the park, I felt like a total champ! Then the bar exam came along, cue 3 weeks of (literally) sitting in a chair for 16 hours a day (minus…

having trouble staying on track!
Hi there. About a month ago, I had a pretty significant life event, and just told myself that as long as I didn't gain weight for the 3 week period that I had to deal with it, I was okay with that. Well, I didn't really gain any weight, but I'm having trouble being consistent and getting back to the diet now, so it's now…

3 week break from running, where do I start?
Hi! I had to take a three week break from running. At the time I stopped, I was running about 60 minutes a day, about 6 miles, 3-6 times per week. Yesterday was supposed to be my first day back, and I told myself I would run 40 minutes. Well, I am very disappointed because I only ran for about 11 minutes before I started…

Resting Metabolic Rate
I had my resting metabolic rate tested (not just the automatic calculation--> the real way at a doctor's office) about 16 pounds and a year and a half ago and it was 1670. Now, I weigh about 16 pounds less but am much fitter (I was hardly working out at all when I did the test, except for yoga a few times a week and now I…

Running. Feeling not so great after first 5k, pace
I just ran my first 5k on sunday. I worked really hard to get there and used a C25k program. For about the first half of my training, I was on the treadmill at about a 6.2-6.3 (about a 9 min 20 sec. mile I think (?)). Then about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I switched to only running outside. I figured I had kept up my pace as I…

Hi guys, Lately, I've been under immense stress and, as a result, have been feeling very hungry. The "You should weigh XXX in 5 weeks" Feature at the end of
I have 3 questions: (1) I have my settings to "lose 2 lbs per week" (I know 1/2-1 is better, but I'm very type A, so, what can I say?) However, it is telling me that at the calorie amount MFT recommended (1200/day), I will lose 1.1lb per week. What gives? (2) Have you found the "If you eat this many calories you will weigh…
