How do you decide how many calories or macros?
So I see that you can go on and plug in your weight age and things like that and it’ll say here or use this many calories. And you can do the same to get your macros. I can’t help thinking that that is not specific to a person so to speak. I wanted to be able to do keto, but it doesn’t work out well for me as I don’t have…

Hi! I just got back from hospital from a bad attack of acute pancreatitis. I never want to experience that again! Also I'm a type 2 diabetic. Support for Dexcom G7
There is support for the Dexcom G6 CGM, but not the G7. I am new to wearing a device and got the newest model, but then found out that it's not supported. That's my fault, but we should have support for the latest model. Thanks!

Overcoming Depression
Hello, I suffered a heart attack at the ripe old age of 47. I was surprised to learn that depression is a common side effect after a major medical event. In my head, a heart attack should have been a whopping big kick in the tush, but instead I struggle to get out of bed, exercise, eat right, and be positive. I coach a…

50 lbs lost in 40 days.
Well, my story starts when in November 2023 I ended up in ER, and after my sugar was measured (865) I received new diagnosis: diabetes, and was hospitalized. Diagnose was bit of a shock, as over last half year I was receiving confusing sugar readings (will skip explain all for space sake). With 355lb weight, congestive…

Glucose, meal and active data on one chart
As a diabete or someone monitoring glucose levels it is important to see how certain foods and activities affect my glucose level. It would therefore be very useful to see all three these metrics on a time based chart. Even just a line chart with diffent colored dots for when meals, glucose logs and active logs were added.…

I have been taking metformin on and off for years (PCOS and prediabetes). I am going to give it a real try this time. I think the longest I've taken it as prescribed was around 3 months. I'm going to build myself up to 2000 mg AGAIN and stick with it through the end of the year. No excuses. I'll deal with the GI issues for…

What am I doing incorrectly?
I'm about 5'6 and I currently weigh about 160lbs. At my lowest I was 145 lbs which is where I would like to sit. I'm on a 1500 daily calorie high protein (about 115g a day) diet. For macros, I try to aim for a 30/30/50 protein/fat/carb split but it tends to be more 30/45/35 protein/fat/carb which I guess is okay. I weight…
