I have dropped 10 lbs so far, weight 290, changing my life style. Want to weigh healthy weight and not be obese. Would like to run eventually. Exercising 45 minutes a day, at least. Would like to add weights. Have rower and recumbent bike. Could use support, meal ideas or follow my weight loss. Am also, diabetic type 2, trying to have 6 small meals with snacks.

Wow! That's a great start. 45min exercise minimum is impressive and very effective.
It takes research and experimenting, but I highly recommend figuring out what foods make you feel full that have reasonable calories.
A very basic example would be: oatmeal lasts longer than white rice as far as feeling full.
I had great success after I completely changed my relationship with food.
When I approached it like building materials rather than an object of taste-pleasure, things started improving.0
