I know I won’t see loss everyday but weekly I feel like it should be ticking down at least slowly with this much extra to lose… Words of wisdom/encouragement for those who’ve…

I’m 21, 5’7, and 226. I’ve started losing weight again after leaving a toxic relationship & getting my physical health issues sorted & having endo surgery. I’ve been in recovery from Atypical Anorexia w purging for 6+ years, and at a good spot. I was staying the same weight for years, between 210-215. But when I got with…

17 Day Diet
I've been using MyFitnessPal on and off since 2012. Last Thursday, I started the 17 Day diet and am hoping to connect with others who are following it as well. It would be great to support each other and share new recipes-especially since one of the biggest challenges for me is keeping meals interesting and avoiding food…

GLP-1 and my thyroid, a rant - it's long. You've been warned.
I have been on zepbound for just over a year. GLP-1s are miracle drugs. I have finally been able to lose weight without focusing every. second. of. the. day. on food and white knuckling it all day, just waiting for bed when I don't have to think about food or hunger. I revisited old hobbies, picked up new ones, and have…

Over 100lbs lost after 10+ years of trying...I've learned a huge lesson (TW)
I have been on Keto for 252 days. My goal is 140lbs and i started at 310lbs. I am now 201 lbs. 61lbs to go! Before I started this journey I was under the impression that I would never lose the weight. How I have proved myself, and others, wrong. I thought I would share the greatest lesson i have learned so far. This post…

The myth of age and weightloss?
I saw a post about being older and it being harder to lose weight and easier to gain. When you look it up it says a 20 year old man burns 10 - 15 percent more than a 50 year old all else being the same. My question... is all else the same: When i was a kid I played games and sports all day. When i was a teen I played games…

Struggling with weight loss
hello, I’m just starting my journey with my fitness pal. Looking for a more accurate way to know if I’m loosing weight?
Hello everyone, I am currently trying to loose weight so have been dieting and exercising more. I’ve been weighing myself every few days first thing in the morning, because in the past I’ve found that’s a good motivator for me when I see the pounds coming off and I also want to know if I should reduce my calories further,…

Does being on your feet all day even if your not walking make a difference in your activity level?
Let’s say I’m standing up all day at work pretty much in one spot and I’m not “walking” is that “sedentary/not very active” or “lightly active”? Does simply “being on your feet” change your activity level? Really want to get my activity level right so I know how many calories I can or can’t afford.

Weight loss on psych meds
Hello, So I’m currently having to take more medication than I usually do/prefer to do for my mental health. Unfortunately it is a necessity for a bit. They make me so hungry and all I can think about is food. I feel a bit out of control. Naturally I’ve gained some weight and am hoping to lose it, but I’m wondering if…

Does anyone else have the same problems?
Hello! New here. 32yo female. I’m wondering if anyone here has or has had the same problems as myself. I’m unable to lose weight because I’m not eating ENOUGH, ugh. Hello!
I'm oscar, and I've been kinda insecure about myself since like forever, so i'm finally doing something about it! I'm trying to get more toned (I have like a normal amount of muscle from random motivational periods of working out) so that I'm proud of myself when I look in the mirror ever morning. I don't want to get super…

Finally getting back to it
Generally, been struggling to stay consistent with my weight loss goals for the past year or so, sitting at a clean 205lb trying to drop to 175lb. Managed to stay below yesterday (a lot of it was realizing how high-calorie some of my snacks that didn't have nutrition labels were) and I'm really trying to go for it today.…
