Do you put your weight in MFP every time you weigh yourself?
I weigh myself almost every day right before I take a shower in the morning. When I did WW I didn't put my weight in the app - I waited for the meeting. I've been hit or miss entering weights here but I'm thinking I'm going to go back to only entering once a week. What do you all do?

Weight loss and muscle gain
Hi all, I’ve currently been on a 1000 calorie deficit for 7 months and have lost 92lbs. I am starting to weight train and wondering how many calories I should be aiming for per day as I’m currently between 1300 and 1600 hitting around 110 grams of protein per day as I’ve seen multiple sources saying I should be having 2600…

Questions on weight gain
Hello. I want to gain weight and I know I need to consume more calories and also do some exercises like thigh and glutes exercises. But you also loose calories during exercises. So how do I balance the two to gain weight and have my dream body? (Ps: I'm a girl and I'm a beginner)

Everything should be able to be measured by weight.
I have a scale in my kitchen, and I use it to get a precise indication of my caloric intake. However, too many measure with "volume" like cups. Not everything can be measured accurately that way imho. Too much empty space with larger items measuring that way. Every cup will be different.

Graduating from 'obese' to 'overweight'
Hi not sure what to put but I figured I'd share my first big milestone and invite others to do the same. 22kg down and I'm finally below 30 BMI. 15kg to go until I'm considered 'normal' (20 if adjusted for ethnicity) and although I'm proud of my progress, I'm worried that I've plateaued for the past month or so, especially…

FTM 5'5 206 LBS looking to lose fat and gain a fair amount of muscle
I think body recomposition would be in my best interest, but I don't want to look too big. I want to have broad shoulders and a big back. That's for sure. Legs are too big!! I think I already have a decent amount of muscle. I just have a high body fat percentage. I'm currently taking in ~1,200 calories a day since I'm…

Can I set Mini-Goals for Weight Loss?
My overall weight loss goal is to lose 30 pounds. However, along the way I'd like to set mini-goals (or milestones) for weight loss so that I feel successful in the small successes. My vision is to set a milestone mini-goals of 5 pounds each. Is there a way to do that in MFP? I know that I can alter my overall weight loss…

A Re-Introduction
Hello, my name is Adam. I'm now 40 years old and I am a Wisconsinite living in the Chicagoland area. I've struggled with weight my entire life. I've done it all. Atkins, Keto, I've even talked to Richard Simmons once. Nothing really stuck. The most success I had was with Keto, but that wasn't a sustainable lifestyle for…

Fix the app for those doing Keto! Don't reset goals just to update weight
I tried to update my weight today. And it warned me that by changing my weight, I'd have my goals reset. Why would I need my macro levels reset just because I weigh less? I understand that calorie intake and grams will change. But why change my percentages?! Every time I weigh in I have to reset my macros?

How often should I be weighing myself?
I don't want to end up becoming obsessed with the scale, but I'm also not sure how often I should be weighing myself (seeing as I don't even have a scale at home.) Do I just log my weight whenever I go to the doctors? Should I buy a digital scale?

My goals and me
What's up everyone, my name is Dylan, but my friends call me Hoss. I'm new to the tracking game, but a veteran in the workout game. Meaning I'm just starting to learn about calories and surpluses and deficits, but as far as throwing around some iron, I'm pretty knowledgeable. I've been at the weight lifting game for 5-6…

Signs it's time to deload?
It's been 6 weeks since my last deload (which was hiking and some moto dirtbiking on vaca). Is this too soon? Idk if this past week was just a bad one or if my body just needs a break, but the weights felt so heavy and it was hard to push myself like I usually do. I am eating plenty and getting enough sleep. I was supposed…

Not losing weight. Why? Help please!
Hi everyone. I recently stopped breastfeeding and saw the scale increase so I’ve started calorie deficit (1200) and working out at least 3 times a week for the past 2 and a half weeks and I see no difference. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I also tend to have water retention. Any help would be appreciated.
