Anyone else found intermittent fasting to be a god send?
October 1st I was 155.4lbs, with a BMI of 24.4 Now that’s not awful, but there was definitely some ‘Podge’ to shift and I’m the kind of person that has to set some boundaries or limits; simply saying to myself ‘oh, I’ll eat smaller healthier meals’ this month? Yeah. That’s lasting 5 mins. So I bought a smart scale, opened…

FRUSTRATED with this app - How to set my goal to loose weight?
I put in all of my info, my goal and the app gave me 1200 calories per day (I am 5Ft 2in and 143 pounds) I have logged for about two weeks, it states if I eat 1200 calories per day I may loose .5lbs per week -? That is not acceptable I would like to loose 20 lbs and at least 1 to 2 lbs per week, but it doesn't tell me how.…

Roller coaster of Life - Creating Your Own Path - 75 Hard
Not only has 2020 not gone to plan, it's gone so far off "plan" that there are some days I just sit there scratching my head going "how the h@$$ did this all happen?!?" Skin or Fat?
Hi I'm down about 55 pounds since Nov19 and about 15 pounds from my goal. For the past few years my weight has been a little over 200 pounds. I'm 59, so post menopause. I've been doing intermittent fasting, lower carb/higher protein, lifting weights, with a moderate amount of cardio (hill walks). When I started I expected…

Overate today! 😫
I ate 3000 calories today and I’m trying not to regret it. Especially because I’m down to the last 15 lbs. I’ll get through this...It’s so hard not to feel like I’ve undone all my hard work... 😖 That’s it. Starting from tomorrow I’m going to stay in a deficit for the rest of September. I feel like I’ve hardly been in a…

Chit chat
I thought I might start a thread where we can post some other topics we want to talk about, not necessarily related to our month's accountability. Here goes ... As you may know, hubbie has started his weight loss journey here on MFP. The last week however, the scale went upwards, although being within his calories. So, I…

Lack of self control on a road trip and now I’m over my starting weight :(
So disappointed in my self! I had lost about 4lbs and was on track for steady, healthy weight loss. Now I have gained back 6lbs and I’m heavier than my starting weight. I have such a tough time choosing the healthy option when there are so many things on the menu that just look better tasting. And some of the time the best…

Letting go after confusing body comments
TLDR: I'm struggling with his comments about my body even though I'm trying so hard to shake them off. I wrote a long post but it was too much. I'll just say that I just see myself lifting less and less, forcing fewer workouts, taking extra rest days, really internalizing this crap when I'm trying so hard not to! I tell…

The COVID lockdown weight gain
I'm trying to get rid of some extra weight I gained during the lockdown. My area is coming out of the lockdown gradually and I'm back to work now so less time near the fridge. Definitely put on a few pounds though. I'm going low carb and cutting out the wine. Any other thoughts?
