When I have to enter an item or create one, I am marking beside the item (net carbs) and I adjust the carb area to reflect net carbs. When I then select the item I can see it is a net carb item by the brackets beside it.

I personally cannot do a keto lifestyle under 20g of carbs permanently,but I believe I could stay between 20-40ish on an ongoing basis. It leaves me a little leaway for a treat here or there or a higher carb veggie mixed in a dish,just more sustainable but keeps my carb cravings at Bay.

Have you input yourself into the carb manager app. It's free,a lot of Facebook keto groups use it. For the most part many of the person's are 20g of carbs and under. When I add new foods,beside the food I list I'm marking net carbs in brackets and in the carb field I'm putting in net carbs. Then when I put in my food quantity it will list the carbs and I know it is net carbs because it shows beside the food.

I have a family too. I usually make a meat,veggie and side dish,I just stay away from the side dish.

I keep within a calorie range but also keep track of carbs. If I have too many carbs I overeat,like I'm addicted,the more I have the more I want. I try to stay between 20-35 and my cravings seem much better.

Have you pulled up your macros to see how much fat and protein you need. I'm supposed to have something like 129. I have a hard time getting there.

I use it myself, I just eat my low carb or no carb food and input. It does have an area that totals carbs,but I also make sure I'm in my calorie range,as I can still over eat on low carb foods.

Just outside of Toronto Ontario(east), not a fan of hockey and love the Ice Caps at Timmies but try to stay far away from the extra calories.
