I'd like to check it out!

That's hilarious! My family is based in Ontario, but I did my undergrad in Halifax, at Dal/the University of King's College. :D

1. Name, Age, Marital Status, Children, Where do you live? My name is Megann! I'm 22 years old and very happily single (and childless). I'm a Canadian who is living in Connecticut for grad school! 2. Weight and how long have you been on MFP? My current weight is about 160lbs. I've been on MFP since Fall 2014, and it's made…

Looking to join a new challenge or two after a challenging few months! I know you're over the initial 20, but a number of people usually drop out early on, so you may reach a lower equilibrium soon!

Hey all! Checking in and trying to avoid some major stress eating - some life developments today that are largely good, but still stressful. I had my grad school plan all set out for the fall next year, and I was all pumped and ready to go to Wisconsin. But today, I got an 11th hour offer of admission from Yale with full…

Affirmative! My room is about as tiny as it gets, and I've been doing the workouts in the aisle between my bed and dresser. Sometimes I have to hit pause to change angles, but I can still make it work.

Hey Ellie! Looks like we're about the same age, and have similar goals. I'm very close to reaching mine (the last 15 are rough!), and I'd be happy to chat about my fitness journey and about how you're doing - accountabilibuddies are really getting me through this stretch of things. Send me a message any time!

Ah, shoot! Forgot to post! On April 13, I was 143, so no real change from my SW. I've gone down a touch since then, and am hoping that trend will continue!

I've just started it as well - I'm on Week II. I like it when I'm not doing it, hahaha, although mid work-out I am cursing my complete lack of flexibility!

I have a vision of myself going running in a rockin' sports bra!

Finally took the time to convert all of these oz. recommendations to liters. It makes sense now.

Today has been... interesting. Set my alarm early to get in PiYo before class, but I put my phone across the room so that I would actually get out of bed. But I guess that it needed to be plugged in, because the damn traitor battery died and I ended up waking up 10 minutes before class (it's a 20 minute walk). For the…

In other news, this was a good, active day. Stayed in my calorie goal too boot - I'm starting to notice my pallet (sp?) changing, because I never would have considered kale/spinach/orange/pineapple juice to be a treat, but that's what it has become.

Hahah, yes! Sometimes my heart race increases because I pick something up and for a moment I think that I'm about to have to sprint for my life!

Answer of the year!

I'm not very far it, but I do highly recommend it. It's been a lot of fun - because I run at night, I like to keep a familiar route, so the app really adds a bit of excitement to what would otherwise be a banal routine. I alternate Zombies, Run! with regular podcasts, but I definitely look forward to the Zombies evenings…

Great advice! Right now, I'm doing my best to try and find what exercises I like. I'm doing more now than I probably will in the long-term, but I know that finding my maintenance will be figuring out a balance between food and exercise, and working out the right amount of each. Luckily, I have an excellent fitness…

I haven't done the 5K training, but I use the original Zombies, Run! app, and there is an option to turn on zombie chases if you want to do sprint interval chases. It's something that is separate from the story - so the characters might tell you to "Run!," but you don't actually need to pick up the pace until the…

I'm glad to hear that endorsement! I just started with HipHop Abs, and I'm really enjoying it, even if it is reinfocing how totally uncoordinated I am!
-
So far so good - I started my day with some PiYo. It was my first time doing it, and I like it quite a lot... even though it meant setting my alarm an hour earlier. Planning to do HipHop Abs and a short Zombies, Run after class as well. I cut my calorie intake for the past few days to make-up for some weekend…

I've decided that I want to see if doing PiYo when I wake up will influence my day at all. So I've got my alarm set nice and early to facilitate that. Mornings have never been my friend, so I'm dreading that wake-up most of all.
-
I started with it, but found that it was a bit harder on my knees than I was hoping (and I'm only 22, with no particular history of knee issues). Anyway, I think I'm going to do a bit to work up to it because I don't want to have to give up my nightly runs to accommodate the "Insane" impact. But I wish you luck,…

Looking forward to it! This will be the perfect excuse to use the 5k "race" feature on Zombies, Run! Adding it to the calendar.

I took a look at Insanity, but it seems like it's going to be a bit hard on knees if I want to keep running every day. So I'm going to start with something easier - I'm thinking HipHop Abs, then T25, and then if I'm realllly feeling it, I can reconsider Insanity. But it doesn't make a lot of sense for where I'm at right…
