I decided to ‘kick start’ my weight loss for February but eliminating desserts/baked goods and limiting alcohol. This approach really helped me when I started losing weight in August. I’ve gone up on the scale the last month-just eating too much junk (probably residual habits from the holidays). Feeling more in control!

Hi @godlikepoetyes. Thanks for your post. I'm going to focus on the opportunity I have to CHOOSE this week. Choose what to eat, when to exercise (I know you like to 'move' but I like to exercise) and choose how I feel. It really is a privilege to be able to do all of these things. Thanks. Allison

Thank you, arditarose and thiosulfate. I'm going to try a few of your strategies. Either doing no alcohol or limited alcohol will be helpful and trying to choose 'lighter options' or just one smaller indulgence I'm sure will help.

It's harder to tell because you're in different clothing but you can definitely tell that your stomach has gone down and you have a beautiful new curve in your bum. Well done!

More efficiently sweating during my workouts. I find now that I'm losing weight and increasing my fitness significantly, I sweat a lot more while exercising and secretly (or perhaps, not so secretly now) really like it! I feel strong!
