First and foremost, THANK YOU ever so VERY much for posting...your reply means so much to me, words can't describe the thoughts and feeling I have about you--even though I don't know you personally, yet please know that you are loved and I LOVE YOU dearheart, I just want you to know that!
Also, you are doing sooooo well. How I vividly remember the utter JOY I felt getting into a size 38 waist, from YEARS and YEARS of being a size 48-50 waist. For you to not only be getting into 38's but even some 36's is just plain tremendous and super mega ULTRA YAY YOU! Keep going and keep posting and again, though you are experiencing a deep and profound loss that many will not be able to relate to...I want you to KNOW that you are not alone and your progress and sheer unadulterated courage to live/survive and get down to size in the midst of such pain and heartache is something your beloved husband would be so happy about and is helping inspire and encourage MANY people going thru a lot of major pain right now too--so THANK YOU again for sharing with us how you're doing and your progress!
Once more, I LOVE you and your post is/has helped me and untold numbers of others more than you will ever know.

@NewLIFEstyle4ME I love your positive outlook on everything.
Your cute pictures, too! Count it all joy!
My NSVs: well, yesterday was the first day I managed to go significantly *over* my calorie goal since I got sick a few weeks ago. I've been consistently way under as I have issues with losing appetite during stress and illness.
I now just about get smalls or extra smalls in things. My husband went on a trip recently (before all this) and he brought home shirts for me for his trip and not only did I not worry if he'd find anything that fit, I didn't worry that him getting smalls would be too small.
Somedays are still a struggle where I think my clothing lies to me (I can't REALLY be a small).
Every day, I get up, armor up against the dragonboss I'm going up against, and keep fighting the good fight. I've slayed countless dragonpants by now. Though, the slog is moving slower now that I'm on the last 20.
Good luck out there, everyone! Make today a GOOD day! A JOYful day!11 -

Thank you my Boo,you are ALWAYS so encouraging to me and I quite frankly LOVE IT!!!!
You are doing sooooo very well, I LOVE that you're slim and trim and a size small...that's fabulous honey! Even more than that, I super love your way of thinking/living about being a SLAYER of dragons (bosses and all kinds of slick and yucky type of dragons in y/our lives (even and especially our own blasted "dragons") that are DAILY "trying" their darnest to be rearing their ugly heads and trying (and many times shockingly super succeeding in/at/with their POWER stealing and evil influence(s) AND mind-controlling us, with their WICKED and LYING/DECEIVING mess. You go girl. Aint nobody over here putting up with/giving in to these power-draining dragons everywhere we turn. You're THE BEST, period.
Lastly, I LOVE that you say "MAKE" it a GOOD day! A JOYFUL Day! Cause that exactly what we "dragon slayers MUST do/be" No one is going to be it FOR US, we've got to do it for/by ourselves firstly and hopefully others will join in...but don't count on it. All we can do is be light and try to encourage/inspire others by/with our example AND HAVE FUN DOING IT.0 -

It still throws me that I’m mostly smalls now. I still reach for mediums. For some reason, I was able to make the shift to mediums with little mental adjustment, but smalls are still magical unicorn land. No way I’m a small (I’m 5’1’’ with a BMI of 23, I should be a small, my logical brain says. I think it lies).7 -
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. During my previous one he told me it would be good for me to lose some weight. I had lost about 20 lbs. He was surprised.20

I was out doing my walk/run thing today since gym is closed. A man in the gas truck said Wow lady you are an inspiration to me, I see you out here running, he said he had gained so much weight! I said I lost 30 lbs 2 years ago and trying to keep it off. He made me feel good!21

@RelCanonical Right? It boggles my mind too. My brain and reality often conflict. XD5 -
I had to panic buy some new trousers this morning. A week of working from home made me realise that I don't have any casual trousers that don't hang off me and I can't wait until we come out of the other side of this to get some...11

I’ve been trying to eat healthy. I made pancakes for my family this morning and didn’t even want one.8

... I am not a runner. I get shin splints and stitches in my side and I've never been able to run, though I've been fairly fit for most of my life.
I got on the treadmill yesterday and decided to see if I could jog for just a little while before things started to hurt. Figured I'd go 3 minutes and then slow the pace to something manageable. Maybe try some HIIT or something to keep isolation interesting.
... I jogged 2 miles in 22 minutes, and then walked 2 more miles in 30 minutes and felt pretty good.
O_O
I keep checking my house for the pod that I must have hatched from. It's like I don't even know me anymore. I might try jogging again tomorrow if I don't feel like taking 2 hours to get my normal step count...16 -

That is FANTASTIC! And a safe way to get out of the damn house if you try it. If you end up walking, that's awesome, too.
Keep looking for that pod. It's got to be there somewhere.2 -
I got my right leg splits back today! I’m surprised that my body regained flexibility back in a few weeks after not having stretched for a couple years.9

Me too!!!4 -
My wedding ring is getting so loose I'm in danger of losing it. I hate to put it away but I have an old ring from high school that might fit as a stand-in soon. I think I'll get my wedding ring resized after I hit goal weight and prove I can hold steady there.11

You're a runner, homeslice!! That's awesome. A friend of mine HATED running but loved CrossFit (I LOVE running and hate strength training), but after a couple of weeks of CrossFit she went from a painful struggle mile to a 10k at a better pace than mine. Loathe as I am to admit it, that cross training REALLY pays off in running!!11 -
First exercise I logged in this saga, 2.03 miles in 34 minutes.
Today’s exercise, 8.24 miles in 81 minutes.13 -
I did a lot of quick cleaning (because I'd got behind and the realtor was coming over to look at the house) yesterday, and today.... I'm not nearly as footsore as I would ordinarily be after a day where I cleaned all the floors up and down and did a ton of picking up and arranging. Maybe carrying 20 pounds less helps with that, hm?12

Today is exactly 365 days since I downloaded MFP.
I've somehow kept up this weight loss thing for an entire year. :0
Honestly when I started I didn't think I could do it. I'm just THAT stubborn I guess.38 -
