That is wonderful! Congratulations!3 -
Since my wife sees me almost every day, she really hasn't noticed all the changes. This weekend I went camping with our son's Boy Scout Troop after I recorded my lowest weight this Century. LOL. When we came home Sunday, she finally saw the difference in my face and was surprised at how much change there's been.22

My workout from Friday which I will be trying again today. After months of being down due to injuries and illnesses I finally felt like I could start pushing myself again. We'll see what today says.
3 sets each non-stop:
10 double renegade rows with 20 pounds
30 double hammer curls w/20 pounds
12 burpee jumps
3 minutes on the heavy bag.
3 sets x 12 reps:
Standing lat push downs
cable rows inside
cable rows outside12 -
I was used as an example in a work meeting of someone with excellent health habits.35

There is a lovely elderly couple that I see walking together when I am on my to the station. I used to see them when I walked, then when I cycled and now when I run. The gentleman stopped me today and asked if I was the man that used to cycle and when I said yes he said "Wow, you have lost so much weight!"
Nice when a stranger recognises it!25 -
I love myself and I really, really REALLY like myself too. For years and years I didn't--I do now and I'm so glad I do!21

Today I was surprised by myself, I has able to be under my calorie limit and do some home workout, even if in quarantine (total lockdown in Italy). I'm working a lot and going out of my mind for not being able to get out of the house, but I've not eaten out of stress or boredom. Huge step forward!

My husband died 3+ years ago and I have several of his things that I wear. His pants with 38 waist are definitely LOOSE. Not to worry -- he had 36s, too. I feel a bit safer and less alone when I wear his things. His wedding ring that he gave me to wear when I was expecting our son is also quite slippery and I can add my own now.40

I got knee socks for Christmas that I can comfortably wear pulled up, without rolling the tops down or feeling my circulation cut off.16

I managed to stay within my calorie target while traveling Sunday and Monday, and while working from home yesterday! Yay, me!19

I am so sorry for your loss. It must be comforting to be able to wear his things. Stay healthy in this craziness.4 -
I have managed to stay under maintenance for 2 consecutive days with birthday cake in the house, while on state-wide orders to stay home as much as possible.
It's a miracle. I'd tell the Pope but I think he's on lockdown, too. [wry smile]19 -
I was able to button and zip an old pair of size 6 skinny jeans and was able to fit into these really cute shorts that I've been using for motivation! Still gotta lose a little more to really fit into them, but I could put them on with minimal effort lol! Also lost half an inch off my waist!15

I went for a walk today. The last two days have been not good from a mental health standpoint. I feel like I'm improving, even if only a little, and getting myself out for a walk is a big hurdle to overcome. Fortunately, it is warm enough to walk comfortably outside. Wish I could walk to the library for the easy bathroom break, though...14

I got outside today, too. 43F and a downpour, but my dogs and I spent a good hour jogging (well, they run a lot) in the dog park. Had the place to myself practically once the rain started. Yesterday was the only day since I started social distancing that I didn't get out to exercise, and it totally sucked. Going to try not to let that happen again.

Random guy at the park asked me How I was doing. When I was obese, no guy would stop to talk to me.11

Climbed 7 flights of stairs carrying a 40 lb water bag. Did it partnered today but am working my way up to doing it alone for 3 reps with lunges as a finisher.11

Made it through day 2 of WFH and stayed on track calorie-wise. A little low on steps, though. Need to work on that.11
