Thank you!
Today I walked twice as far with the dogs. I used to be exhausted after this particular round and needed to lay down for a bit, but this time when I came back I just sat down behind my laptop to do some work. I'm so happy I'm feeling better already while I just started. Now I'm only hoping to stay motivated and working on keeping going. Have been on a weightloss journey in the past only to be stopped by health... Praying and hoping it won't happen again 🙌16 -

You're a winner no matter how you slice it.4 -
I decided to ‘kick start’ my weight loss for February but eliminating desserts/baked goods and limiting alcohol. This approach really helped me when I started losing weight in August. I’ve gone up on the scale the last month-just eating too much junk (probably residual habits from the holidays). Feeling more in control!19

What a difference a year can make! Amazing!4 -
I haven't posted before because my weight loss felt insignificant compared to other people's journeys. It's all "vanity weight", but those 15 pounds really affected the way I felt and my confidence levels. Now that I'm into maintenance, these NSVs are all I can focus on, and I achieved two that I'm really happy about:
1. I finally lost inches in my hips which had never felt possible before. I went from 35/26/38 measurements to 35/25/36 measurements which dropped me down a pant size!
2. I progressed from bodyweight squats all the way up to 40lb goblet squats in the first month of the NROL lifting program I'm working on.25 -
Company provided lunch yesterday, typically I always overeat and don't log when we have lunches like that. But I ordered the lunch this time, so I knew what we were getting. I made healthy choices, I logged prior to eating and most importantly I stuck with my plan and didn't say "screw it" and indulge in the treats that I would have loved to have.23

Ran 3 miles at a sub 9 min mile pace. 8.48 to be exact. My fastest time EVER. When i first started running in April I was barely able to get through 2 miles at a 14 min mile pace.31

I'm normally someone who's super focused on food when eating. Went out with a friend for lunch, and was so involved in conversation that it took forever to finish my food.20

I started this endeavor in mid November. Tonight hit 2000 km / 1240 miles on my indoor bike. Also my resting heart rate dropped from 61 to 52. Used to hate cardio when I was "young" and now it's what enables me to reach my goals.
Never felt this fit before.
PS: Netflix and Amazon Prime are a huge help during the training sessions.14 -
Every day activity is easier with prolonged bouts of standing and walking with lil to no back ache enabling me to do more and be 🤗better. .18

Got my body fat tested today and my BF% has gone down 2.5% in the last 4 weeks.25

I used to fantasize about an exercise bike that would power my TV... if I stopped pedaling, I'd lose what I was watching. Yeah, I'm someone who needs that kind of motivation.17 -
I didn't work out for a few months and I recently went back to the gym to start conditioning for half marathon training. I wasn't sure I'd be able to run for more than a few minutes, but I was still able to run for 30 minutes with no pain. It wasn't fast, but I didn't quit!22

I discovered that I can close my hand around my other wrist and touch my thumb and middle finger tips together. Works with the ring fingers too.13

I realised I can use the chest strap on my backpack and it’s not even at its most expanded!12

I do this too! I could just barely touch my thumb and middle finger together when I started, and now I can overlap my middle and ring finger over my thumb.12
