Repeat after me, there are no magical potions.

That calculation is for running. If the OP is walking at 3.5 mph it would be more like .30

I tried physical therapy, orthotics, stretch bands, towel scrunching, bottle rolling, and night splint/boot but nothing worked. After several years of battle I decided to go against conventional wisdom and stop wearing shoes as much as possible. After regularly going barefoot for a few months, the plantar fasciitis was…

The entire concept of MyFitnessPal is counting calories. Fill out all the required info, set a goal, and MFP will give you the recommended calories. Log everything you eat and be sure to do it accurately by weighing portions if needed. It works.

Your sugar premise is flawed, essentially all carbohydrates are turned to sugar in the digestion process. Usually I microwave them but my favorite is to slice them and fry in unrefined coconut oil. Sweet potato home fries!

My normal mid morning snack is an apple and a baggie of baby carrots.

I doubt you can have too much fiber unless you are eating 2x4 lumber.

Coffee - no Sugar and creamer - yes What is really insane is some of the fancy coffee house coffees with additives can amount to the calorie equivalent of a meal.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm becoming convinced that he is just trolling.

Your posts are getting even more absurd. There is no reason to have 9% body fat unless you are a top level elite endurance athlete.

No I didn't see it, are these foods supposed to suck the calories out of you? That sucking sound may be the $$ leaving your wallet if you are gullible.

Be careful, your immaturity is showing.

You are missing the concern that we are trying to express. Your fitness or weight will not matter when you are a slobbering wheelchair bound invalid near death.

Yep, I cut the handlebars off. :) Seriously, weight is lost by eating at a deficit. Cycling might help you to have a deficit and might not. Weight loss starts in the kitchen.

Nah, after 40+ years of races I have lost interest and I am no longer competitive. The last trophy I won was decades ago. I do run one local 5k most years to judge my fitness and support the charity.

Make your diary setting open to public so some of these smart people can check for logging problems.

Even a broken clock is correct twice per day. Some Dr. Oz stuff is good, some not so much. It pays to be discerning whether it is Dr. Oz, a politician, or your neighbor giving advice to you.

Depends on your goals and we don't know your goals or anything else about you. More info may help.

Depends on your goals and we don't know that.

This. We gain strength on rest days, not workout days. Exercise puts micro tears in muscles and on rest days those muscles heal and get stronger.

Weight fluctuates constantly. Weigh yourself less often and you won't see the fluctuations. Once per week max if the fluctuations bother you.

I did not call you a liar, there is no need to put words in my post that weren't there. I said "I don't believe you" as in you are incorrect! Many of the things in your log are no more than a single bite, or two bites. I viewed your diary before posting and saw the huge inaccuracies. This has also been pointed out by…

What some don't realize is that an athletic shoe should fit you perfectly from the first instant you put it on. There is no break in for athletic shoes. Leather shoes need to break in, not rubber, plastic and nylon athletic shoes.

It is a matter of moderation. The danger is for the idiots that go 5 times a week for 1/2 hour each time. The risk if using one for 10 minutes twice per week is less than being outside on a cloudy day.

Maybe my post was blunt but it is truthful and not intended to insult. If you could eat before you can eat now. It helps to have a thick skin on forums and not take offense when offered the truth.

Been a runner for over fifty years and have always worn the same cotton blend socks I wear for most everything else. Sounds to me like your shoes don't fit you correctly.

Carry on a conversation = moderate exercise Difficult to converse = vigorous

Frankly, I don't believe you. You did not become overweight by eating 700 calories per day. That low of an intake is absurd and is not a sustainable lifestyle.
