Thank you everyone for all the responses! I started my period when I was 11 and went on the pill at 14 (not for any health reasons). I always had a regular period but at times they were painful and the older I got, the worse they got. I was about 103 lbs until I was about 18 and then the weight started to creep up. I…

My calorie intake is 1200. I have started eating heathy fats, slowly. From what I've been reading on other posts, I'm wondering if I'm not eating enough food. I may have to up my calories and see how I do with that.

Thanks!!!

Yes it does!!! So many recipes call for cheese or cream cheese

I'm doing low carb high fat and trying to keep my calories to 1200. I like sunflower seeds and pistachios as snacks. Make sure you have the right serving size and they make a great filling snack. I like to pick when I snack and these are perfect. These don't exactly help with the sweet tooth though! I eat a lot of eggs,…

I'm in!! Before I had the baby I could do quite a few push up but again I'm down to basically none! Let's see where this leads!! :)

This group is awesome! So full of great information! It's been a huge help, thank you

I'm fairly new to it as well and so far I'm feeling awesome and I'm starting to notice all the negative ways carbs affect my body....inside and out. Welcome to the group, I'm finding it full of useful info and great people :) feel free to add me, I'm always up for new friends!

I never put much thought into my spices before.....

Thanks everyone for all the info, it's extremely helpful. I'm currently doing 90g per day and hopefully I'll be able to lower that sooner than later. I doubt I'll ever go fully carb free but less carbs are doing me wonders! It's helping greatly with my PCOS. However, there are still times when after I'm done eating a full…

I'm new to low carbs and snacking was tough at first for sure! Some of these ideas are great!

I did some of the T25 and thought they were great. I only did it with a group on a casual basis but I was actually hoping to do the whole program in the next little while.

Hi @IslandSneezerooo, I'm nowhere near my goal but believe that it is indeed possible for all of us :) it's definitely a lot harder to lose with PCOS but not impossible. I agree with @shesang, life is too short to be strict all the time but from all the reading I've done, women with PCOS have to be dedicated to lose the…

Thank you and I probably should have been more specific in my original post, I don't buy into the products she sells but find the articles and interviews with medical professionals very informative.

Great attitude!! :)

Good luck with your weight loss! losing weight definitely helped me get pregnant with my second :)

Hi :) I highly recommend PCOSDiva, it's a huge source of information, https://pcosdiva.com you won't be disappointed !

The paleo lifestyle has been my biggest help, I try to do the 80/20 version. I find that dairy makes me painfully bloated, especially milk, so I try to stay away as mush as I can. I have never taken any meds for my PCOS and hopefully I can keep fighting it with healthy eating and exercise :)

I'm from Ontario Canada. Feel free to add me :)

Great job on the weight loss!!! :) women with PCOS don't always have cysts on their ovaries, the symptoms are different for each person and the intensity is different as well. Good luck with the remaining weight loss!!

-
That's a great motto! And is the best way to fight PCOS

The one good thing is that you've been diagnosed early so hopefully you can adapt quicker. I highly recommend looking up PCOSDiva, she has so much information available. I would also recommend that you do some research on PCOS on your own, a lot of Drs still don't have a full understanding of PCOS, so doing a bit of…

Don't give up hope about children, my Dr told me twice I wouldn't be able to have children and I now have two beautiful daughters! Losing weight can be a big factor in conceiving, I 100% think my weightloss was the reason I got pregnant with my second. Even losing 5% of your weight can be a huge help. Don't let Drs…
