  • Slow cooker black bean soup and a homemade brownie (or two)!
  • Noosa Yoghurt is really good. Just tried the the pumpkin flavor and it's AWESOME! Tastes like a super tangy and creamy slice of pumpkin pie.
  • Just caved and bought a pack of the new Blue Moon seasonals. Drinking the Cinnamon Horchata Ale now and it's really good.. not sweet, subtle cinnamon flavor. Also picked up the Pickle Popcorn from Trader Joes!! So excited to have them for my snack tonight.
  • They taste more like french toast to me than pancakes, but like I said, I love them! Just wanted to throw that out there.
  • Awesome tip! Thank you! I love La Croix, not super into the peach-pear, but I bet I would like it with some white wine added in. Also love lime flavor, especially Lime Tostitos.
  • Y'all just made my Friday! That makes perfect sense. I adjusted my deficit to 10% from 20% since I have 8lbs to lose, so I'll see how that works for a couple of weeks. Sorry to hijack the thread!
  • Gotcha, well thanks for mentioning that anyways! It'll give me something to look into.
  • I haven't heard this before! Do you mind me asking what your source is? I'd like to read more about the reasoning. Is this other people's experience also? When someone gets down to only having 20lbs left, it's typical to reduce the % deficit?
  • Just had these this morning for breakfast. LOVE THEM!
  • This is my first week using the TDEE method. I have been using the MFP method since April and have lost about 8 lbs. (8 more to go). The MFP method has been a little stressful for me because I would obsess over fitting in exercise each day just so that I could have more calories to eat. Using the TDEE method this week, I…
  • Great, thank you for your help!! I was starting to over-analyze it in my head.
  • For what it's worth, just wanted to point out that nutrition labels are allowed to be off by up to 20% according to FDA standards, so you're never going to get the EXACT correct calorie count. A rounding issue seems pretty insignificant. Interesting article if interested,…
  • La Croix! I don't drink soda, but I love the La Croix flavors when I'm bored and feel like I need to eat/drink something. It's just sparkling water, so no sugar, chemicals, etc. The coconut, grapefruit, and lime flavors are my favorite. The lime tastes just like Sprite.
  • I've been on a La Croix water kick lately. I feel like I need something sweet after every meal and it was killing my calories allowance, so I started buying fun La Croix flavors and having one of those after I eat. It works for me. It's just carbonated water with a subtle fruit taste. No calories, artificial sweeteners,…

  • Just chiming in to say you look gorgeous! I've always had problems with gowns because I'm 5'10" and they never quite hit the floor. So glad you found something that works! That's so frustrating.
  • Would you mind posting a review for the Bellabeat Leaf on MFP when you receive it?? I googled it and it's so pretty! My birthday is in August, so it may be a potential gift suggestion for the hubs.
  • I can't wait to try the Samoa bars! Thanks for the tip. This is my favorite post.
  • Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that too much protein can also lead to weakened bones and osteoporosis.
  • LOVE these so much!
  • If following a recipe seems intimidating, sometimes the more simple the meal, the better! During the summer, my husband and I grill out a ton. He'll put some chicken breasts in an Italian dressing marinade and grill them, and we'll serve it with corn on the cob or a big salad with a whole grain roll as a side. Also good is…
  • I'm 5'10" and I felt my absolute best when I was 150 a couple of years ago, but I'm setting my goal around 160lbs. I'm currently 167 and started from 176 in the beginning of April.
  • This is such a great thread, thank you for putting this together!
  • I have my husband grill a couple of chicken breasts and then I use them to top salad for my lunches during the week. Sometimes we do just olive oil and salt and pepper on the chicken, sometimes Italian dressing, and sometime sriracha.

  • This is my favorite cookbook of all time, it's called The America's Test Kitchen Healthy Family Cookbook. Really easy and healthy meals. I use it at least once a week. http://www.amazon.com/Americas-Kitchen-Healthy-Family-Cookbook/dp/1933615567/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1433359530&sr=8-5&keywords=americas+test+kitchen

  • I LOVE ThinkThin bars! So glad other ppl have found them. Bought the Caramel Fudge ones this week and was really pleased with them. The only ones that I thought were awful were the mocha flavored ones.
  • I agree about them having a fake taste! I tried the cookie dough flavor the other week and was so disappointed. I felt like they left a gross plastic-y coating in my mouth. :-(
  • Try having a late afternoon snack with a lot of protein and moving your dinner back a little. If you can spare any extra calories, I also try to save some calories for a small snack before bed. My husband likes eating dinner later in the evening (like 6:30, which is late for me!) and I would always be starving when I would…
  • Emmydoodles83 - Awwwwww, thank you so much!! Her name is Cricket and she is one of the sweetest, most kindhearted dogs ever and we love her so much. Seriously, she gets away with anything!
  • YES! 3D doritos and rice krispy treats cereal! Makes me want to cry!
  • You should do whatever feels comfortable for you. If 100 pounds feels daunting, take it 10 pounds at a time. To me, that feels a lot less intimidating. Just focus on losing 10 pounds, and when you hit that, focus on the next 10. Lots and lots of luck! This website is a great resource! :)
