Going to Express and buying clothes off the rack! Bye bye Torrid!

127 lbs lost since April 2015! I do exercise, but I wouldn't consider it over the top. I log every day and am honest with what I log!

Super fun!

Paraguard really shouldn't have any bearing on weight loss/gain. It is completely hormone free so there are no synthetic hormones going into your body that would cause weight loss or gain. OP- my best advice is to make sure Mirena is the option for you before getting it. Educate yourself, and talk to your doctor to make…

I only see feet...so it's a pass.

So pretty!

You get out what you put in. My advice is to be honest with your logging. Even if that means you're over on calories, chalk it up as a lesson and move on. I have logged every day since mid April and am down 113 lbs! This is a very valuable tool in learning how to eat in moderation. I'm hoping to be down another 20-25 lbs…

I am using C25K right now. I came to a little bit of a halt when I hit Week 3 (3 minutes of running straight was REALLY tough for me) and did 3 weeks of Week 3 before moving on to Week 4. Today was Week 4, Day 1 and I completed it! 5 minutes of jogging was really tough but I powered through. I read through a similar thread…

I have a few, but my most motivating one at the moment is to get back to my high school weight. 8 more lbs!

I just have to quickly say that I'm very impressed with the maturity on this board and the OP's willingness to admit his "fault". Unfortunately I do not see that around here much. Welcome, @muscleandbeard

What an AMAZING post! Your before and after photos are just fantastic. I am in a similar situation (weight-loss wise). I started at 352 in April 2015 and have lost 109 lbs. Keep up the excellent work, you're doing great!!!

I've lost 109 lbs since mid April, here is my break down: April 2015- lost 8 lbs May 2015- lost 15.5 lbs June 2015-lost 10 lbs July 2015-lost 9.5 August 2015-lost 15.5 lbs September 2015- lost 9 lbs October 2015-lost 10 lbs November 2015- lost 12 lbs December 2015-lost 9.5 January 2016 (so far)-lost 5.5 lbs I have been…

Hi there! I've lost 109 lbs since April. My goal is 48 lbs away. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm struggling but I am noticing that I can't be as "lax" as I was before. Every single calorie in and out counts! Congrats on your weight loss, you look wonderful!!!!
-
THIS THIS THIS THIS. I still have 50 lbs to lose to get to my goal and a possible 10-15 more after that depending. I only look "thin" to you because I haven't been this weight since high school!
-
This is a fun thread! I am 45.5 lbs away from One-derland!!!! I started off in April as 153 lbs away from 199 so I'm getting there!!
-
Welcome! You got this! You have to be honest with yourself, with your logging, and remember that totally restricting yourself does more harm than good. Stay within your calories, get your activity in and you will see the pounds come off! I have lost 107 lbs since mid-April and am working on the last 50!

Yep. Not from a lot of people but my gramma says it to me often. She's well-meaning of course, but I have to remind her that I'm not "on a diet" (the way she thinks of one). I can eat whatever as long as it's in moderation and planned for. I usually don't go a day without some sort of chocolate!

MUSCLES! Dedication :)

Helloooo! I'm 31 and since April have lost 101 lbs but still have 56 to go!!! We can all do this!

I agree with this. Wouldn't it be nicer to just say "no thank you"? Or put them in the break room or give them to someone else. How wasteful. Also, how terribly rude. Imagine how horrible it would make the baker feel if they found out you were chucking their stuff? No one is knocking your goals (I haven't had one holiday…

I am 5'9" and started off at 352 lbs. I was unsure of what my goal was when I was starting off because I had been so heavy for so long. I've always been a "big" girl, even in 7th grade I was 180 lbs and 5'7"-ish. I have a large frame and am very hourglass so my curves aren't going anywhere. I am now at 258 and my doctor…

I love this thread! 79 lbs down!

Thank you! There are some more photos at the bottom but I can't figure out how to get them in the post. I think they illustrate the difference better!

Start with a 15 lb Kettlebell. I was a beginner about 1 month-ish ago (still am!) and LAUGHED when a friend of mine (a personal trainer, just not mine-I don't have one, lol) told me to use 15 lbs. I thought it was too light. Even when I went to the store and picked it up, I stood in the aisle for 20 minutes debating on the…

I weigh in every Monday morning and take my measurements once a month. That is my suggestion, only because of how much your weight can fluctuate on a day to day basis.

Welcome to MFP! I started in April with a goal to lose 157 lbs. It seemed so daunting and at first I didn't know if I'd be able to do it. Fast forward 4.5 months later and I am down 63 lbs and have 94 to go. I still have a ways to go but it seems so much less daunting than it did in the beginning. Be honest and accurate…

I rarely chime in on these boards but I'm compelled to post on this one and say that the statement above is actually kind of rude. I've been overweight for a long time and am currently 60 lbs down out of 150 to lose. I ate some really crappy food over the last 2 decades to get me to where I was, but also ate some really…
