50+ pounds lost People. Momentum Question.

Hey all! I have 50+ pounds to loose. I am 3wks in and am down 10#s.
What was the momentum and loss like for those that have already lost 50 or more?
I am weighing in everyday, and I can see a clear pattern. 2-3 days of loss, small gain. 2-3days of loss, small gain. Repeat.
Since I have more to loose, will this keep up? When did it start to even for you?
I know every body is different, so everyone's weight loss is different, I'm more just curious of how it went for others so I can guess at how it might go for me.
Thanks!

For me, my loss was a little more stable, but so was my exercise routine.
I loss about 10 the 1st month and then averaged about 5-7 pounds a month. I tracked exercise and calories daily for the 1st at least 4 months. I can try to send them to you if you're interested. Just message me.

I lost 45lbs in 5 months.
26th May - 205lbs
27th June - 190.8lbs (14lb loss)
26th July - 179.2 lbs (12 lb loss)
26th Aug - 169.2 lbs (10 lb loss)
25th Sept - 162.8 lbs (6lb loss)
25th Oct - 158.8 lbs (4lb loss)
Bear in mind though that weight loss isn't linear. Some days you'll 'gain' and some you wont lose at all.

Thank you both for the input!0

The scale goes up twice a month, at ovulation and before my period starts, but the overall trend is down.

That's great to see, thanks!0

It looks like how mine is forming up.0

your weight will always fluctuate... just how our body works. as long as the overall trend is downward, you are fine. It will never "level out" so don't hold your breath waiting on that to happen0

I've lost 109 lbs since mid April, here is my break down:
April 2015- lost 8 lbs
May 2015- lost 15.5 lbs
June 2015-lost 10 lbs
July 2015-lost 9.5
August 2015-lost 15.5 lbs
September 2015- lost 9 lbs
October 2015-lost 10 lbs
November 2015- lost 12 lbs
December 2015-lost 9.5
January 2016 (so far)-lost 5.5 lbs
I have been losing rather consistently but have had weeks where it's a bit slow. I weigh myself every Monday as opposed to daily as I don't prefer to see the daily fluctuations, but everyone is different! I still have 48 lbs to reach my goal weight and maybe even an additional 5-15 after that depending on how I feel. I'll be interested to see how these next few months shape up for me!
I do some form of cardio on a daily basis and have just recently taken up a boot camp class at my gym 3 days a week. I work out a lot but it really helps me with feeling great and gives me a bit of a buffer when my eating isn't always on point (it is most of the time). I've learned that weight loss is really about moderation and balance!! It's been quite a journey for me!
Good luck with your journey and congrats on your progress already!0 -

I meant level out as in when the first initial bigger drop, like 10#s the first month, slows down and becomes a more gradual loss.
I understand weight fluctuates. I put that in my post that I saw the trend.0 -

Yeah the first drop is always the greatest, it will probably slow down some. My issue was that it completely stopped and I didn't try to pick it back up so I plateaued for a loong time0 -
Thanks for all the feedback!0

That's pretty individual. I never got the initial big drop. I think that's more likely when someone makes drastic changes, which I didn't.0
