If you increased your workout, it's probably just water weight from sore muscles. I easily gain a couple of pounds overnight if I hit the gym hard.

Eatin durty. I love it! I had a bagel with cream cheese this morning. Just means I have to eat less for dinner tonight.

You have a great attitude!!!! I'm yelling you, weighing everything is a game changer!! Not as much dish washing either. I started out counting macros, but decided to just try to keep my protein up until I lose a lot more weight before I add something else to think about. You've got this!!!

LMAO!! Y'all are killing me!!!!! I'm not sure I can go to the gym tomorrow. I'm afraid of what I may see.....camels, mooses, frog eyes, elephants, prancing Grandma's and whatever the heck that scary big eyed snorty thing is.

I like to use the machine backwards. It looks strange, but it hits my glutes.

I have gotten unsolicited advice about my eating as well as about my workout. With my eating I thank them and said that what I was doing was working for me so far. I did appreciate the notes on my form because it really has helped me a lot.

I've set mini goals for myself because that one big number was too overwhelming. I started at 232 and my first mini goal was 180. I just broke under 200 so I have about 20 more to go to get to my first goal. You can do this!

My job requires me to be outside everyday. Some days I'm out of the truck for short stints, some days I'm out of the truck all day. I almost always have a bottle of water beside me. on the days that I'm inspecting the paving crew I'll probably drink over a gallon of water and not pee all day. I just drink water until I go…

when I first started strength training my jeans got tight in the legs too. It was just water retention not muscle.
-
I weigh everything and log it in grams or .25 ounces but I've noticed it sometimes shows up in my diary .25 cups, etc.
-
I'm meal prep on Sundays so I have the same lunch every day all week. If you don't like eating the same thing every day, just freeze it that way you always have something when you don't feel like cooking.

Ice cream sammiches!! Gotta get some Fudge Pops.

I go through times when it's hard to eat enough, then a few days later I could eat a sofa kitchen. Peanut butter is a good way to up your calories. I'll sometimes have protein powder in water at night. It tops me off and is a bit of a sweet treat for me. You could mix it with milk if you wanted something a little richer.

MFP has your deficit built in, so eat up to the calories suggested. I wouldn't count the fruit, etc.
-
Weight fluctuates, so try not to freak out if you seem to have gained two pounds overnight.
-
I'm nowhere near my goal, but I can tell you that I look better at my current weight after strength training than I did at the same weight when I was just gaining.
-
Even though you're very active, you're not eating in a deficit, so you're eating more calories than your body's using.
-
Bank your calories during the week, then eat light for breakfast ans lunch before the cookout. Also make something to take to the cookout with you that you can eat. I always take a side dish whenever invited to a cook-out and depending on what they're serving, I'll pick up a few chicken breasts to contribute too.

I just bought a Taylor scale from Wal-Mart and love it so far. I paid about $23 at the store.
-
Just reading the title I thought "Cool, she's got a gazelle!!!" One that I thought may be a bit overweight. Sorry, I don't know anything about the machine.
-
I used to only weigh myself every 2-3 weeks because I didn't have a scale. I bought one Friday so I've started weighing every day in the morning. I was planning on waiting until I got closer to goal before weighing daily, but decided I may as well get used to the fluctuations while I'm losing fairly easy.
-
Weighing your food will change the whole game. Digital food scales aren't expensive and can be found at Walmart, Target, Amazon...so many places. Weighing everything took me a little longer in the beginning, but it's almost second nature to me now. I'm also washing a whole lot fewer dishes because I don't use measuring…
-
My scale won't do "negatives" so I just weigh the container before I take anything out, weigh it again after I take something out. My scale also cuts off pretty quickly (so annoying).
-
I want to be able to do that too, but I have a long way to go before I hit maintenance. I went to the beach for 3 days last week and had actually lost weight when I got home, but I did bank calories before I left. I'm trying to pay more attention to the size of the portions I weigh out at home instead of just looking at…
-
I weigh 2 pounds more today than I did yesterday. I did go out for breakfast yesterday morning, but I know I didn't eat 7000 calories over maintenance so I know it'll go away in a couple of days.
-
I set a mini goal because I didn't want to think about a big number. Once I get to my first mini goal, I'll set another one of maybe 20 or 30 more pounds.
-
I have find that square plates make it a little easier to read my scale.
-
I feeeeeeeeeels like I'm getting pizza for dinner now!

Love Skinny Cow. They're not tiny, but I think just enough to calm that hankering. I don't have any here, or I'd check the weight.
