Pork and sauerkraut for dinner last night. Easy and delicious.

@Stockholm_Andy Recipe for the crock pot curry? I loooooove curry!

https://therecipecritic.com/creamy-tuscan-garlic-tortellini-soup/ I made a variation of this tonight. It's not low calorie per say but 360 calories for a hearty bowl full for dinner works for me. I halved the butter, used milk instead of cream, cut out the chicken (because I didn't have any on hand), added carrot and extra…

I trust anything you say about food, Crazyravr. I just ordered a jar of Mina Harissa from Amazon. Thank you!

This, absolutely this! I do most of my cooking on the weekends and often make a double batch of each dish- it's usually just as easy since everything is already out. We eat one meal from what I make that day, then freeze the rest. Lasagna, meatloaf, casseroles and especially soups do really well when frozen. If I have time…

I love the Think Thin brownie crunch bars. Pure Protein are really good too.

Man, I like my veg but 800g a day still seems like a ton of veggies.

Thank you! I was thinking 16oz was meant as weight - but then that would just bonkers.

Homemade chicken noodle soup and some leftover breakfast bake.

Bakery cake. Daaaaaaang. I ate it and then after the fact checked the calories and dropped my fork. It was early in my tracking days and I couldn't comprehend +800 calories for a tiny slice of cake. It was covered in strawberries... that should have been healthy, right? ;) On the upside, it reinforced the need to checking…

Dinner tonight- zucchini, portabello mushrooms, spinach and peas. Great if you're a volume eater and easy if you have an over abundance of zucchini in the garden.
-
Spinach, peas, and zucchini (the first harvest from the garden!) sauteed with leftover grilled chicken and topped with parmesan cheese. 5 minute weeknight dinner.

If it was me, I would stick to inexpensive sport style bras if you're losing weight steadily. It's likely your size will change and good bras are pricey! I didn't have a lot to lose but with just 10lbs my boobs got much smaller (unfortunately). It's genetic and and will be different for everyone. My mom was small chested…

Ohhh! How did you make the chicken? I never have any luck with chicken but that looks so tasty!
-
I sauteed it with garlic, lemon and a little salt. Then I put it under an omelet. It was tasty but I cooked the kale like I usually saute spinach and that wasn't nearly long enough. It tasted more like a hybrid of spinach and broccoli and it needed to be cooked for much, much longer. I froze a ton that I have left over and…

I second zucchini boats! Delicious.

I IF a few days of the week because it's easier for my work schedule, plus I get the benefit of a larger dinner/snacks in the evening. I usually wait to break-fast at 2pm with a light lunch.

I'm the opposite. Two days before my period starts I start starving. STARVING. I want to eat anything and everything. I plan to eat at maintenance on these days and usually ignore my macros. If I want two chocolate bars, I make room for two chocolate bars. With hormones and water retention (and maybe some of the extra food…

I followed this recipe and made pretzels last night. https://www.skinnytaste.com/easy-bagel-recipe/ They were really good and I'll make them again but they did have a slightly greek yogurty smell. It didn't bother me or my daughter but my husband had a wary look on his face while they were cooking.

I know this thread is two years old but I just made these chocolate chip cloud cookies and they're amazing! Since skinnytaste is pretty popular around here, has anyone tried a variation of this recipie? I wanted to try a coconut and chocolate chip version but when I looked online for coconut macaroon recipes to get ideas,…

Not sure your age or family plans but it may change over the years due to hormones and if you have kids. My weight has only gone down about 10 lbs since before I had kids but after two pregnancies my boobs are WAY smaller and my bra size changed from a 34DD to a 34C. Though in my case I wish I had my DD's back :)

It's early, so nothing yet, but I'm planning to have around 2 cups of celery, 1 apple, and for dinner I'll have a big plate of vegetable curry (potatoes, peas, cabbage, spinach, carrots and onion).
-
My weekly average is around 1500 and 1600 calories for a very sloooooow lose but it goes up and down on different days.

The below is my absolute favorite. If you keep out the coconut milk and / or paneer it's still yummy and would be low fat. I just throw in whatever veggies I have in the fridge and weigh and record as I go, so the amounts listed below are just a rough guide. If you like spicy curry, double or even triple the chili powder.…

I never liked soda, even as a kid. Water and hot tea for me. My hubby loves soda but he switched years ago to drinking water flavored with mios. I don't care for the taste but it's the only way he'll drink tap water. He'll still have a pepsi once or twice a month if we go out to a restaurant but we never keep it in the…

Fellow chocoholic here. I like sugar free chocolate pudding mixed in with a bit of chocolate protein powder or chocolate protein bars. The think thin bars are freaking delicious. I make a couple varieties at home that satisfy the sugar craving and help me meet my protein goals for the day.

I go through phases. Moderation is nice in theory but personally I find that it creeps up on me until one day I realize that I'm consistently going way over on calories and eating primarily chocolate (my weakness). When I notice I'm getting weird and eating chocolate non-stop all day I'll take a break and go a few weeks…

I'm still a super novice when it comes to running but these things random things personally made a huge impact for me: 1. Pace - learn to run as slow as needed (in my case as slow as possible) when you start so don't have to breathe so hard you look like you're hyperventilating. You can get faster later. I aimed for a pace…

Full body two days back to back? Not arguing, just clarifying. I don't work out much and claim no real knowledge but I always thought that to gain muscle you needed to rest a muscle for a day or two between workouts so it can rebuild (or something like that, again, I have no clue).

I love this idea! Two work outs a week is better than nothing!
