  • I definitely notice this. I'm at the point now where I know what the scale will tell me just going off of how I feel and what my belly looks like on any given morning.
  • Have you just recently lost weight? The only reason I ask is because I had been overweight for a very long time and when I finally hit a normal weight range I was surprised by the look and feel of my body...speaking of bones and all.... I'm in a normal bmi range now but when lying down have the rib cage thing going on, and…
  • I had a quick look at what RFL is, and...wow. I'd like to try that once....just to see if I could do it. LOL! It sounds like pure evil, but it's intriguing nonetheless.
  • Both of you look fantastic!!!
  • I've have the bowflex adjustable Dumbbells for a year now and love them. Best money I've ever spent.
  • Losing a couple pounds might help, but I really would consider strength training along with.... If it were me I would try a slight deficit...nothing drastic...and get the compound lifts in a few times per week. That should get you a really nice midsection. If you really don't want to lift weights I would still keep the…
  • Weight fluctuates day to day, soooo there's that. But every single time I begin a new workout I start retaining water weight. Every single time...soooo...there's that too. Beyond that if your weight keeps trending up you'll need to take a hard look at your calories. Give it a week and see where you're at.
  • I tried a couple preworkouts and didn't notice any difference at all so I stopped buying them. Coffee is all I have now.
  • Taking any meds? Just asking because some can dry you out.

  • I usually get one or two crunchy chicken tacos with a side of rice. If I have the calories sometimes a side of beans too.
  • Congrats on how far you've come!!! You're doing great so far, so just keep up with your deficit. You don't say what you're workouts consist of, but you should be on a progressive overload weight training program. No waiting until you reach your goal weight. Do it now! As far as food, pick a day out of the week when you…
  • Well....I'll tell you what I would do to drop a few pounds of vanity weight for an event. Plenty of fluids daily along with watching salt intake. I'd also limit foods that I know make me bloated when eaten in bigger quantities. For me it's breads and pasta. I've done this before and it helps me get rid of some water…
  • Why does it have to be about pretending to be poor? It could be a great thing for people who could benefit from tightening up their food budget on occasion.
  • I do tend to cut back on calories a bit in the aftermath, but I'm usually ok with it because I'm still pretty full from the overindulgence. I don't go so far as to make it punishment though. I don't think it's unreasonable to cut calories back a little for a few days after. It's no different than people banking calories…
  • Strawberry frosted. I don't buy them though, because if I do I will eat the whole effing box.

  • I think it's great that you've found what's working for you op. And it's very true that we each have to attack our weight loss endeavors in a way that a right for us. As far as people criticizing you taking alli....I'm not going to jump on the wagon, BUT do you think your success has to do with eating right and exercising…
  • If op had to actually live off that amount of good money I guarantee he/she would be learning to cook real fast.
  • In addition to that, if your aim is to lose weight it will also give you an average of how much you have lost per week...month, ect.

  • I totally understand not wanting to waste food, and I'm guilty of having eaten my sons leftovers too. What I sometimes do now is if he has something I know he won't finish I'll make myself a smaller plate. That way if i end up finishing his Im averaging out to about what my own serving would be. That being said, I'm better…
  • I like Hellmanns olive oil mayo. 7g on my sandwich is enough and it's only 35 calories.
  • It isn't accurate for me in maintenance. According to Fitbit I burn on average 1700 calories per day, but there's no way I can get away with eating that. I bulked on 1750.
  • I've always put my greens in a bowl in the fridge with a damp paper towel over top, which keeps them from wilting. I did stop buying bigger packages though because they just don't keep very long.
  • It is if you like eating fish. ???

  • Eating fats won't make you fat, but it can be a bit of a sticky widget to hit that macro when you're only allowed around 1200 calories. I had a hard time with it too but found that a tablespoon of olive oil on a salad, and say...a half tablespoon of butter on my veggies gave it a good boost. With the remainder of my usual…
  • Soooooo much this! With how horribly the app is running nowadays there is no way I would be paying for anything extra. I can barely use what I have now!
  • When I need to drop a few pounds I rely heavily on Greek yogurt, chicken breast, and salad stuff (lots of veggies and berries).
  • I don't think I would be jumping to ditching him right off the bat. I mean...is he a good therapist, because those can be hard to come by... If so I would be clinging to that despite his diet ramblings. My take from what you wrote isn't that he was pressuring you to change your way of eating so much as being overly…
  • I bake 2-3 sweet potatoes at a time so I have them ready to be heated up for meals. I dunno....it works fine for me.
