There is a Strava group for MFP runners that as active as the monthly challenge group hyperlinked above. Group welcomes all runners and very engaged. I don’t know if there is an organized triathlete group but there are some of us who have completed 5150, 70.3 and even a few 140.6 persons on here.

My major goal is 50 marathons in 50 states and I have 26 completed. My wife really loves the traveling and mini vacations. We've been to some nice places, and have quite a few destinations yet to get to! Fortunately, I dont think I will ever face that dilemma.

I very very loosely follow or use an older Higdon training plan (ok, I actually just follow his weekly long run ramp up) on Training Peaks. But I really like his quote I posted here about consistent training.

Speculation on my part but group run that increase the distance of the weekly run gradually. Larger groups might split up into smaller teams of similar paces. Just go prepared to run and perhaps bring a bottle for fluids.
