BBQ flavored chips. I will eat an entire large bag, enjoy it and not be sorry.

I don’t think it’s the fish oil, correlation doesn’t equal causation. What else has been going on this month? Are you experiencing stress and/or anxiety for any reason?

Hi ladies, I am back on the weight loss wagon after taking a break due to Covid and starting school. I feel I have the brain space again to be more mindful. I am 55 and lost weight and got in got shape around 48-49, then had cancer and am now fully recovered, it took a few years to get there as I had chronic back pain for…

What an achievement! That’s amazing, you must feel like a very different person. What exercise are you doing?

I need to just lose 1.5lb by next Monday to have lost 10lb in my first 4 weeks, I would be down to 170 from 180. I am hoping to lose 10lb a month for the foreseeable until I get back to whatever seems a healthy weight and size. I was 142 and a size 4 when my 11 yr old was diagnosed with cancer and then I was diagnosed 6…

I’m back on the wagon and have a lot more to lose but I definitely would love more friends to motivate each other. I slimmed right down in my late 40s, was working out at the gym, weight training 3/4 x a week, felt so energized and fantastic and then was diagnosed with cancer out of the blue. So after chemo and a very long…

What kind of foods are you eating? You want to eat a TON of veggies as they make your body work hard breaking them down and help you to feel really full. Are you exercising? If you are doing the same kinds of expertise without challenging yourself to do something more difficult you can plateau as your body is used to that…

I started back tracking on MFP a week ago and happy to have more accountability partners, let’s support and motivate each other!

Hi Hannah, I started back with focusing on losing weight a week ago and started tracking in MFP again. So far I have lost 4lb, I’d love to have more people to be accountable with.
-
I am the same! I just started focusing on eating healthier and tracking with MFP a week ago and have lost 4lb so far. I need to lose 45-50lb.

Hi Ladies, I am back on the wagon and lost 3 lb this week. I am 54 and want to lose the weight I put on when I had cancer.
-
Congratulations! Keep going, just take one day at a time, tracking food and finding a way to exercise and you will get to your goal!
-
That is amazing progress! You should rightly be so proud of your hard work, you’re absolutely right that those pictures show a big difference.

I am 54 and have a lot more to loss after a battle with cancer (which I won) but I put on 40lb, wanna be friends and motivate each other? I had an accident and badly sprained my ankle right before Christmas so I am doing PT and exercises in the pool 3x a week. I would love to do a lot more walking and exercise right now…

Hello Ladies, I am 53 and have been back and forth a bit in the past 9 months or so but finally motivated to get back in shape. I was 145lb and a size 4 at 49. After losing 30lb I was weight training x3 a week plus cardio when I was diagnosed with cancer. I am cancer free and am currently 180lb and size 12. I am happy with…

I have a daughter who is a rising Junior and another who is 18 and about to be a Freshman! Luckily they are attending a big local public uni in our city (I am in the burbs). So I still see our eldest a lot as she likes to bring friends home or go for lunch etc. How far away will your daughter be?

@BendableButMendable thanks for your reply. I also have another thought, I am a Catholic and usually is every parish we have a group named the Society of St Vincent DePaul (SVDP). The group is made up of ordinary parishioners and their only purpose is to help people in the community in any practical way they can. There is…

We are in the same boat! Picked up our 10 week old Rough Collie right before lock down and obviously had to cancel all her puppy classes. We need to take her to remedial classes although she is generally very good. She definitely had to be more socialized with other dogs, she was a nervous wreck at the dog park in the…
