This is amazing!! These are all goals that I aspire to!

Wow amazing! I am based in PA too, in Pittsburgh. I am going to have to look this doc up!

This is amazing. Kudos to you. Thanks for sharing

Oranges! A fuji apple (which I love) is about 130 calories, but an orange which is just as sweet is about 80 calories. That really surprised me.

What!! How? You must tell me! I love grilled cheese sandwiches but can rarely have them due to calories

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism when I was 20, which led to my thyroid being taken out. Have been hypo ever since.

I do this all the time too! So delicious. The first night we eat chicken meat and then I put all the bones back in the crock pot. I cut up the remaining meat and put it in the fridge. I fill the crock pot with water and sometimes will add onions and spices. Leave it on low overnight. The next day you can carefully pour the…

Hi Laura I have an open diary and am adding you

To hit 155. That puts me in middle of the normal BMI range. 3 more pounds to go!
-
Same here, I have been hypothyroid for over 20 years and just recently lost weight by starting on mfp. Once you adjust your dosage, it's pretty much similar like a normal person losing weight.
-
1. Reach and maintain around 155. 2. Run 3 miles in 30 minutes 3. Connect with one friend or family every day even if it's a simple message.

Hi ladies, I have sent friend requests to you. I am 5 8 and currently 159 pounds. That's down from 186 in the summer. I am 41 so don't think I can get down to the 140s anymore. My goal is to hit 155 and maintain. That puts me right in the middle of the normal BMI range

Completely understand, a high stress job with lots of travel also led me to pack on the pounds... Add me as well!

I just went on a 5 day cruise and lost weight! No joke! I ran for 25 min every day, took the stairs and did not eat sweets except for crepes one night. I was surprised that I lost weight, I think it was the running. Good luck!
-
i ran 2 miles on the treadmill at 5.5 which is around 11 min/mile pace. My previous was 1.3 miles. This week, I got to 1.3 and was still feeling strong. I decided to keep going. I got all the way to 1.8 before it became hard and then i just pushed for the last 0.2 miles to get to a nice round 2 mile total. When I first…

Just added you as a friend!
-
Run two miles without stopping at 5.5 speed on treadmill. That would be two consecutive 11 minute miles.

Totally understand what you are feeling... That's why I turned off the mfp status updates for my weight. It's nice when I have lost but depressing when I gain back. And my loss has been super up and down so far. I mean the general trend is down but the scale moves a lot... Hang in there. Think more in fitness goals than…

Agree with everyone here. You look like a million bucks! Very inspirational before and after.
-
Thanks all, really appreciate the insights you've shared. Will try to relax and not log... but continue to work out. Let's see where I land in January!
-
Wow! I have never met anyone who has lost weight on a cruise! Amazing!
-
Oh gosh... Had not even thought of the internet package angle.
-
sigh... Mine isn't Disney but Royal Caribbean. i'm sure it will be just as bad. I will definitely try to work out every day.
-
thanks - this is good advice and very true. I will try to work out every day and probably swim too.

The kids' piano teacher noticed how much weight I lost. She said I really look different. I think it was because I was in my workout gear as opposed to office clothes. I went onto ride the bike in the other room while they did their lessons. Three months ago I would have just sat and read my book.
-
yes! I do this all the time. Especially at night, if i really want to eat cookies or something, i'll tell myself, if I really want it that bad, i will save it for breakfast. Then I don't feel like i'm depriving myself. Of course when morning comes, i only want to eat my usual breakfast, not cookies or cake. My willpower is…

Will try the veggie and egg hash tomorrow! Thanks for the ideas

Thanks for sharing this! I love the egg wrap idea!

Wow! What an incredible and inspiring story. Thanks for sharing and congratulations,

5 8 here as well! Starting weight was 186. Currently bouncing around the 166-168 range but not really losing. Would really like to get to 155 as that is right in middle of the healthy BMI range, but we will see... Will be awesome if I can avoid gaining back anything during the holidays. Feel free and I can add me!
