WTF, 47's not old! I have to say that, I'm 46 3/4...
-
The weather forecast was nice so I took the day off work and went for a ride.
-
This also happens with the chest strap if you get it really drenched in sweat.

It is possible to get sustainably produced pangasius (same thing as swai, panga, Vietnamese catfish, basa, iridescent shark, and many more names): https://www.fishforward.eu/en/project/pangasius/ But even with an ASC certification, personally I'm not fond of it; it's got no flavour and it's got no texture.

I don't disagree with anything you wrote, this post is purely for internet pedantry points. The current UCI unified hour record holder is Victor Campenaerts (55.089km) but the UCI "best human effort" still Chris Boardman's 1996 effort of 56.375km. It changed hands between Graeme Obree and Boardman several times in the…

Offa, 8th century king of Mercia, was well known as an animal lover. Couldn't stand the Welsh, built a big wall to keep them out.

AND a bigger kitchen

1/3, give or take.

I once had the misfortune to cycle up a big hill just behind some guy wearing speedos, cycling shoes and nothing else. Not wanting to stop, and not having the power to go past him, meant I had to just sit there. Then he started standing up out of the saddle to pedal, with his nut sack bobbing around. Not a pretty sight as…

Imagine the instantaneous weight loss you're going to have once the laxatives kick in. Make sure to weigh yourself before and after just so you know.
-
Steaming is good. I had steamed salmon for us tea last night, it was the best dinner I've cooked myself this year.
-
Hell yes! It's the biggest weight loss event of the day.
-
My Ah-HAAAA! moment came when I bent over to do my shoes up and my *kitten* went through the back of my trousers. Fortunately I had packed a spare pair. Also, I like cycling up mountains and it's just easier the lighter you are.

Or you'll end up like Steve Backley with one big arm. He must have use catering size tins of beans for training.
-
My other top tip for benas is to open the tin from the wrong end, because that way the ones that have settled on the bottom of the tin and won't come out, come out first with the juice behind them helping them out.
-
In any case Heinz beans are crap; last I heard is that Branston beans were the favourites but my information may be out of date.
-
There was some bloke not so long ago who opened a tin of beans and claimed to find one (1) bean swimming in an entire tin of juice. https://geekologie.com/2019/09/man-opens-can-of-heinz-beans-to-find-onl.php If the ratio of beans to juice isn't right I expect that would cause the net weight to differ from what it says on…

"I was looking though some photos and I can't get over how much weight you've lost" "Are you retrospectively calling me fat?" "Yes"

* Fridge * food scales * kettle * I've set up my indoor bicycle trainer in the kitchen too Also home beer brewing kit, but that is part of what got me into this mess in the first place. Coffee machine, dishwasher. Everything else I can do without.
-
Used to work for me, stopped working several app updates ago. It's a pain in the *kitten*.

A cup of beans, using a sausage as a spoon. It's like a savoury 99.

Fighting over the last potato will be a great workout.

And red is the fastest colour. Get a red bike.

Nice. Don't eat them all at once, remember your daily target.
-
In the morning, right after I've had a dump.

Make a comeback? Never been away.
-
That sounds magnificent. So does that! If I wasn't already a fat knacker I'd have that for my tea.

Install both apps on your phone, then go to Settings -> 3rd Party Apps in Garmin Connect, and link them there. Or go to https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps and link Garmin Connect from there. (I looked but can't see a way of linking things from the Garmin Connect web app at connect.garmin.com).

This morning I had the usual muesli and coffee before I went for a 75km ride, so no special breakfast. If you're riding for longer than 45 minutes to an hour you'll probably need to eat something during the ride. Bananas are good, but also energy drinks are useful. Anything with easily-digested carbohydrates in; today I…
