I really do not think you are too fat to run. I was running five miles a day in the Marines for over nine years. At that point in my life I was one mean machine, I weighed 190 lbs to 210 and kept my weight there most of the time. I ran five miles a day, not much pain at all. I ended up with a back injury and was from that…

Well said, I need to do something like this, it seems I either eat about the same daily or go to snacks later which I think does not help my loss. I know you stick pretty close to what you have here.

Quit??? You're being successful- losing is not what it is ALL about. As others have said....inches, body fat, that is what it is all about. Then while you hit goal, along the way you will rebuild muscle. Muscle weighs more as it will retain water as you are working out. This is natural.....so quit???? Nope, not now you're…

I would look at a low carb diet, he can eat protein and without a lot of bread this might help him to feel full. There are a lot of good things about a low carb intake. I also will give him energy. It does take some time to get use to but it does work with little exercise for weight loss. Any type of moving is good, even…

You do not have to cheat. If you go over log it. It is ok. There are several of us that go over our amount set, but that does not mean we cheat by eating more. It is ok to eat more if you need it. This is not a diet, it is controlling what we are eating in a better way than when we were eating out of control that made us…

Hi Slimmereachday, Yes I have but not all at once. The first time I went on the Atkins Diet, and that is why it did not work for me in the looonnnnng run, LOL No PUN intended... I found that after losing the weight I would incorporate the carbs back into my diet, (that is a bad word by the way) D I E T...rrrr I would gain…
