  • Yes, it works. One of the women on friends list has done this. It did help her waist. I am not sure on how safe it is but it does work.
  • I am with you. I am 43 and I feel better than I did when I was in my 20's.
  • I am in Lake County.
  • I lost 30 pounds. I needed to lose it and I have kept most of it off.
  • I have walked on the treadmill loaded. Not one of my finer moments.
  • We have dinner with my mother in law twice a week. I always bring my own food. I can't eat what she makes because I don't have time to spend the next day being sick. She always offers something and my reply is "no, thank you, but thank you for offering.". You can be a good girl and keep the peace and still say no.
  • I am sorry that you are going through this. It isn't right that your parents are involving you in this situation. You are 19 years old and you should not be expected to solve their marriage problem. Sit them down together and tell them to seek out some type of counsel, that you are not going to be able to solve their…
  • I won't be much help on this because I can't talk you out of it. Salmon, green salad, 1/2 glass of wine, 1/2 brownie. Sometimes you just need some chocolate and wine, even if you go over a little.
  • First off, congratulations on losing the weight. It is not easy. I am not really losing weight, but I am working hard to build muscle. No one, at work, really notices anything, or if they do, they don't say anything. I know that I am working hard and I would love for someone to say something, but it just doesn't happen. I…
  • Sadly, I get left out of a lot of things at work because I don't eat a pile of junk. That said, my friends always make sure that I have healthy things to choose from wherever we go. I can't eat greasy stuff because from that time on to the next day, I will have a raging migraine, and the other fun activities that go with…
  • I honestly have no idea what this is, but congrats. Please share about it.
  • I get up every hour or two and do something - walk up and down the stairs, squats in the bathroom. I keep resistance bands under my desk and I use them too.
  • I am going to be 43 in a couple of months and I have 3 children. Having your first child in your late 30's can be tough, but don't worry. You can get yourself back to feeling great. The first step is to find out what you need the comfort food for. Then start eating healthy again and you will begin to feel better. Start…
  • I don't like oatmeal either, but this is mostly because the carb intake frightens me to no end. On Sunday, I get a small round cake tin and I put egg beaters, kale, spinach, tomato, (sometimes mushrooms) and I bake it. When done, I cut it up into individual servings and put it in the frig in tupperware. You can mix some…
  • Children respond differently to different methods of discipline. I have 3 children and did not have to spank. All 3 respond to having something taken away or time out.
  • I would rather just eat a salad for dinner (because I love salads) and make my family something else, but I need to make sure my girls know that you don't have to have just a salad to be healthy. I make healthy dinners that we can all eat. Eating healthy is a lifestyle that we all deserve.
  • Please add me to your friends list. I do try to eat clean, but I have some dirty foods. I feel crappy when i don't eat clean, but I need support to do it right.
  • Green and black is also at Walgreens.
  • Even if these don't burn fat, I am grateful that you posted them. I always have a hard time choosing decent snacks.
  • Yep, I am the nut mum in the next stall yelling "don't touch that!" repeatedly.
  • Go to a health food store. They have many options that do not include lactose, whey, cassein and other things that may cause your flareups.
  • Thank you. This is very interesting. She drinks lactose free milk and eats lactose free yogurt, but she loves peanut butter and peanuts. I will try your suggestions and see what happens. Thank you very much.
  • I have not been tested for this, but I do find that I have most of the symptoms. I don't think that I have celiac disease but I do believe I have gluten intolerance. I will send you a friend request. I need a lot of support in this as some of my current friends don't have this problem and cannot support my low calorie…
  • It is hard, but you can get stuff that has fewer ingredients when it comes to packaged food to still provide healthy things. My girls like fruit and olives - one likes peeled apples, the other likes watermelon. I give them either cheesesticks or the babybel cheese and one of my daughters like yogurt. They both like organic…
  • I was watching a program on PBS yesterday and they listed these, too. I was just about to go on their website and get the list and here it is. Thank you very much for posting it. This is a huge help to know what is okay to buy that is not organic.
  • I agree with everyone else that you need to get another therapist. This is not about being fat and comfortable or losing weight and expecting that all is supposed to be right with the world. This is not about your weight. This is about your self esteem and it probably shows outward. Find a therapist who will help you work…
  • I am kicking butt on the squats. I am having a hard time with some of the ab exercises, not doing them right so they may not be benefitting me. I just end up doing sit ups or my ab coaster. Have a super day!
  • Ah, yes. We have all been there. Got my squats done for day 5 and 6..

  • 60 squats. Most of the abs done. If I am unable to do some of the exercises, I have been filling in regular crunches and reverse crunches. I also have an ab coaster and I do 50 a day. Have a great Friday!!!
