Random acts of kindness. Holy ****, there is no better way in the world to get me into bed than doing something nice that you didn't have to do! And unexpectedly sensuous kisses . . . DAMN.

Oh hells to the yes!!

WORD. I also stopped counting. I'm nowhere near my fitness goal, but eating mindfully and making sure I'm active and exercising every day seems like a healthier way for me to live. Good luck!!

The well-written and cited counter-opinion, from the good people of Examine.com (guest-posted on gokaleo.com): http://gokaleo.com/2013/06/11/women-and-running Not saying there isn't anything else good to do with your body, but running can be good stuff too!

To those of you advocating to push until you can't push any more, is it just so that you feel like you maxed out your workout? Or do you see better results?

Preach it!! Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. For me, I make my fitness goals be about achieving a HEALTHY and HAPPY lifestyle - that means I may not lose the weight very quickly, and I certainly can see it climb back up if I stop being conscious of what I eat, but…

As a fellow- multi-starter, I feel your frustration. You've got it!!
-
I forgive myself for slip ups, but don't forget what I did -- being conscious of the eating choices I've made goes a long way toward keeping me on my goal, and forgiving myself for those mistakes keeps me from binge eating as an emotional response.

oh heck yes!! MAJOR PROPS TO YOU :drinker:

I take the Kantian philosophy of morality: if my actions could be sustained in a system where everyone acts just like me, then my actions are moral. Example: Is lying moral? No, because if everyone were to lie, then the system would break down, since we would all be liars and no one could trust any one else. Is being a…

From tiffanieweber: "Life is not "won" or "lost". Some people live in anger or hate or shame. Don't fall into that trap. Live in peace, grace, mercy, and love. Sometimes its easier for us to do that for others but not include ourselves." 'Nuff said.

From the article posted by kmeekof: "Burning fat is more about overall calorie expenditure, not just about the type of energy your body is using for your workout." BINGO :D
-
Studies have found that having *some* food in your system will help you work out longer and harder, which in the end will allow you to burn more overall calories. Where the calories are being burned from (fuel or fat) is not important, since your overall goal is to reduce your daily calorie consumption in order to force…

I'm so sorry to hear that your "friend" is being such a b!tch - WOW, I'm offended and I'm not even involved. That said, I would recommend not doing a dang thing about it -- if you see that woman again, treat her with courtesy, like you would treat any other person, but keep things formal and uninvolved. Then, with your…
