  • you would be in heart failure and other organ failures FAST! that is not healthy at all.
  • i feel ya girl! do those kegels! they will help. you can also wear a poise panty liner if you have small leaks. they help a lot. ;)
  • have you considered trying probiotics? like eating yogurt or a good-quality supplement? they are the good bacteria that should be present in your digestive system and when they are not there (like when you are on an antibiotic) or you don't have a strong culture, it can affect your bowel movements. you might also consider…
  • don't compare yourself to others. it's not a fair comparison. you have to figure out what is your best and strive for it. don't beat yourself up if you make bad choices (in whatever area). just start each day fresh determined to do better than the day before. good luck and believe in yourself! you are the only you in this…
  • thanks everyone! i have never been on an elliptical, so i am COMPLETELY clueless on what to look for. i just think it would be a great option for me to work out at home while my monsters....oops! my kids i mean, run around. ;) i am totally up for getting a used one and saving some money. my budget is under $1000 if…

  • make sure you are at least eating 1200 cals a day so you don't go into starvation mode. as to eating back the calories you burn off, that is up to you. for me, it depends on the day and my hunger level. if i'm not hungry, i don't eat them which will probably (hopefully) equate to weight loss. good luck on your goals! :)
  • awesome job!!! :)
  • if there is any doubt, just don't compliment. if you know that they are married or something, i don't think it's appropriate. and for me, it's not about creepiness....i like a great compliment as much as the next girl. it's more about appropriateness. JMO. ;)
  • yep, the margarita chicken is awesome! :)

  • your body turns pretty much anything you eat into ATP. sounds like a total gimmick to me.
  • i've experienced something similar. that's typically what my heart burn feels like. i take zantac (the generic and maximum strength) and it helps. mine flares up more when i have a carbonation (ie, sodas) or high fat/greasy food.
  • you might be in a moderate detox where your body is getting rid of all the toxins from processed food and such. keep drinking a TON of water, use and antibacterial face wash and you should clear up soon. :)
  • good luck! sounds like you are on the right path already. :) i have 4 kids. never had a problem losing the baby weight until my 4th where i gained 40 lbs. :( so i'm working to get some of that off. :)
  • welcome! good luck on your goals! :) this is a great tool with a great community to help you achieve them. :)
  • pretty much any multi-vitamin will turn your pee yellow. you are going to pee out any vitamins you can't absorb. so your vitamin is totally fine. ;)
  • sounds great to me. it will also depend on how fast you want to lose and how many calories you are eating daily. for me, it's a trial and error to see what works best for my body and body chemistry. good luck! :)
  • welcome! you are welcome to add me if you like. :) i'm a sahm with 4 kids and i've gone back to school. trying to lose 25 lbs....i have about 16 more to go. :)
  • once a week, first thing in the morning on mondays. i think i might switch to fridays though because i'm usually naughtier with my food on the weekends. ;)
  • my favorite is GNC 100% whey protein, chocolate flavored. 20g protein per scoop and only 5g carbs. :)
  • i'm a SAHM too and recently went back to school. i have 4 kids, ages 11 to almost 3. good luck on your journey! you will find a bunch of support here if you need it. :) feel free to add me if you need a cheerleader. :)
  • yes, put down all 5 TBSP. oil doesn't evaporate.
  • my go-to fast food is the chicken fajita pita at jack-in-the box. get it without cheese for a lower cal count. when i was pregnant wiht gestational diabetes, that was the only fast food that wouldn't spike my blood sugar. with the cheese, it's 326 cals. take the cheese off and it's only 234 cals! it's a whole grain pita…
  • just do a little less every few days. make sure you are replacing the drink with something else, preferably water. if i start getting a caffeine headache, i'll take an excedrin (they have caffeine in it), or half an excedrin. within a couple weeks, you should be able to be caffeine free. :)
  • nevermind.....found it on google... non-scale victory for those like me who didn't know. ;)
  • how awesome!!! (and i'm newer to the boards, but what does "NSV" stand for?)
  • I would only count them if you chose "sedentary" as you lifestyle. i'm a recovering facebook-aholic and would sit on the couch most of the day, so i chose sedentary when filling out my profile. so i do enter cleaning and chores since normally, i wouldn't do them before. and for me, if i get to log something, it is…
  • if i'm cleaning, i log it! i'm burning more calories getting off the couch, so it's motivation for me to get up. the majority i log as light to moderate cleaning. if i'm scrubbing like crazy, then i will log it as vigorous. good luck! when i set up my profile, i have it that i on the sedentary setting, so that's why i…
  • There's not a quick find like on other sites. you either have to enter their email addresses one by one or post a link and let them "friend" you. kinda sucks, but oh well. ;)
