I know a lot of people are anti-soylent. I've just started with the powder, am trying to use the structure of meal replacements for a few weeks to break my snacking and bad eating habits. I am really liking it, the powder mixes up very easily, I don't use a blender, just a shaker bottle. It's very smooth, no lumps or yucky…

I'm just starting C25k and the walking is 3.7ish and my jog is 4.5ish. It's going to be a while before I get up to 5, but slow and steady wins the race right?

I include TRX sessions as strength training, it's a love hate relationship with TRX.

Great job!!!! I do the same thing, breaking it up into smaller pieces makes it seem so much more achievable. I bet it felt amazing to realize you were already a quarter of the way there, keep it up!

I agree, buy a french press and good quality coffee, coarse ground, for a good cup of coffee. My sister in law has a nespresso and raves and practically pours it down our throats when we're there. It's decent, but I prefer my real coffee.

Keep the answers coming, I'm off next Weds night for a 12 hour drive on my own. Will defo need something to keep me going, used to be beef jerky, rootbeer and chocolate bars but I don't want that to happen this trip. I'm thinking baby carrots, fruit and coffee, lots and lots of coffee.

Music definitely helps, my gym has about 12 tv's but they alternate between three channels....the other day they had the bloody Food Network on. Really do I need to be watching Diners, Driveins and Dives while I'm sweating away on the elliptical! I've discovered how to download movies to my tablet this has been a big help.…

Gin or vodka and soda with lime or diet tonic.

I have to attribute all of my success this time around to my trainer and MFP. I see my trainer twice a week and he has been fantastic, really supportive and encouraging while he's kicking my butt. Yesterday he had me doing some TRX exercises, omg how can something so simple be SO hard. But I digress, I think a trainer…

Congratulations, you're looking terrific! Thank you for sharing your inspiring story with us and keep up the great work.

I'm in, will commit to two to three miles every second day but hopefully will be able to get a few more in.

Silk Tassel rye whiskey - passing out on the stairs and waking up to find vomit on the ceiling...not a good night. In the DR the first un-aged batch of white rum costs about $5 a bottle and is lovingly called "gasolina"...yup it lives up to it's name.

I get the numbness in my toes if my shoes aren't just right. I've got to keep the laces loose at the bottom and tight at the top. I'm sure there's an explanation for it, I just try and work around it. When I'm on the elliptical I find mixing it up going backwards for two minutes every 10 minutes helps if they're starting…

They do seem a bit on the high side, I generally adjust them down by 20ish percent. Although today it gave me 241 calories for 45 minutes of yoga. I know it's yoga but I was working hard and SWEATING, so that one might have been on the lowish side.

Haven't heard of it, what's involved?

Feel free to add me, I've lost 30ish so far but have likely a hundred more to go. I'm 37 and have tried the usual suspects in the past, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, etc. I'm not sure what it was but I had my epiphany a few months ago and it seems to be working this time around. MFP has my calories at around 1600, but I…

Feel free to add me, I haven't been this active since I was about 12 or 13. My week includes two sessions with a trainer, a yoga class, lots of walking (on the street and on the treadmill) and I'm thinking about starting a Zumba class once a week.

We all need a reminder of these things, should be read once a week to help motivate us. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations, you look fantastic. Thanks for sharing it's quite an inspiration.

Thanks for letting me vent, I was shaking my head at this one this afternoon. I'm on a hot streak right now and am just too cheap to pay full price for a new pair of jeans that might...NO WILL only fit for a few months. I have a whole summer/vacation wardrobe sitting in a bin in the closet that fits 16 to 18ish but I don't…

Pesto, salmon with pesto is yummo.

I don't weigh or measure things but I'm pretty good at eyeballing things. I do tend to enter things at 10 - 15% more just in case my eyeball is not as good as I think it is!

You look wonderful, so inspiring!

My sister was on Victoza about six months ago and it made her feel constantly nauseous and quite ill. She stuck it out for about three months until she couldn't handle it any more and asked her doctor to switch her meds. I don't know if there was any effect on her thyroid or pancreas but she definitely was not feeling well…

That sounds so good, I love red onion and broccoli together in salad so it would be tasty all roasted up.

Yup Siracha's in there too, that stuff is brilliant on just about everything.

Gotta be balsamic vinegar, I put that &#$@ on everything! Even sliced apples are better with a bit of balsamic sprinkled on them. And rice cakes with sunflower butter with sprouts, that's my go to lunch at work these days.

I've had a Tanita Ultimate Body Fat scale for several years (close to 10 I think) and it's super accurate. Matches exactly with the scale at the doctor's office.

That's what's missing in society today, most people are too caught up in themselves to care about anybody else. If we all took even the slightest interest in other people the world would be a much better place. It can be as simple as a smile or saying good morning to someone on the street, doesn't have to cost any money or…
