Hi! I had my second baby in April. My son was born in August 2011. I found out I was expecting my daughter the same day I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Now I'm starting all over again, too.

Chuckey here. :)

It's the height. I'm 5'10", too. We're lucky, but it is frustrating sometimes. That number can be very scary!

My son Sagan was born 8/25/11. I gained 70 lbs. while pregnant (I'm 5'10", so that's only *almost* as horrible as it sounds). I've lost 55 lbs since then and am now 15 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and 35 lbs from my goal weight. I've just started to get back into exercising; labor and delivery did not got well, and it…

I'm mom to a 6 month old boy and always looking to add other moms to my friends list :)

I never thought about it before, but this thread hasa great point. As the bride, everything was the perfect length. As a bridemaid, everything was always too short. What's going on?

I also got stuck for about a week. Then I started looking at my net calories rather than just intake or eating back exercise calories. After adding in my exercise throughout the day, I now make sure that I net about 1000 calories per day. This means eating more some days that others, but since doing this I have…

I love heels! I used to wear them to the office all the time. The we did an out of state move and I started working from home. Then we had a baby. So now my shoe wardrobe is pretty much just ballet flats. :) But I still have a few boxes of nice heels just waiting for the right time to come out. :)

I just ordered it! I did TurboKick for quite a while before we moved out of state, 3-5x a week. LOVED IT. I am hoping TurboFire will be a good substitute, since none of the gyms around here have cardio kickboxing. :(

5'101/2" here!

I'm 6 months postpartum and still have this, too. The area is numb in several places... just all around strange! Definitely talk to your OB.

Well... I gained 70 lbs while pregnant. I was somewhat active, not as much as I would have liked, until I fractured my ankle at about 6 months along. Then I was quite inactive until the end. I plan on working out throughout the entire pregnancy next time, and hopefully not falling down the stairs. :) Edit: I am 5'10"+...…

Hi! I'm 5'10 1/2". I'm the short one in my family, but a giant to the rest of the world. I would definitely like to be friends with other tall women. I've loved the posts I've read in this discussion group - all so true!

Well said! This diet is a life change - but I still want the occassional sweet treat in my life! :)

I can relate. I work full-time as a translator, I'm adjuncting at the local college this semester, and I have a 5 month old. I get up at 6:30, get my son ready for daycare (my husband actually takes him) and make breakfast, get ready and leave by 8:15. I'm at the college from 8:45 until 5:00. (Fortunately I can do my…

You can add me, too. My son is 4 months. I work as a freelance translator and teacher, and adjunct at our local college. My hours can get kinda crazy. I feel awful when he spends the week at daycare and then I end up having to work all weekend. :(

It's so nice to see other women with the same goals! DH and I have a 4 month old son, and want to try for another soon, but I definitely need to get rid of the weight from this one first :) Add me if you like :)

I'm a translator and adjunct English professor.

Hi! I have a 4 month old. :) Congratulations to you!

I completely agree with this. As long as he is present for all of his duties, you shouldn't have to stay in the same place as them/the others.

Hi and happy birthday! I'm 31, too, and a working mom to a 4 month old. :) I have about 30 lbs of baby/post-wedding weight to lose.

Hi! I have a 4 month old son and I'm trying to lose weight from my pregnancy. I gained 70 lbs while pregant. I've lost 30 lbs so far, but have another 40 to go to get back to my pre-baby weight. I do have some experience calorie counting. When i was in my mid-20s I was able to go from 220 lbs to 150 lbs. - so I know it…
