  • i'm actually going through the EXACT same thing. I'm in weeks 7 and 8 and have been not doing well since mothers day (and been in those weeks since then) and starting weeks 7 and 8 over again (for the millionth time) tomorrow. I hope to just do 1 more week everyday and then move on to phase 3. so nice to hear about someone…
  • i try to focus more on range of motion, thinking that after once or twice it will become "muscle memory" and i can do range of motion and speed. but Jillian is always saying doing it at your own pace. :)
  • Alot of people use the in conjunction sice NMTZ in all strengh and BF is all cardio. try doing them every other day and i bet the pounds would really come off! strength training and cardio is the way to go! :)
  • you are definitly going to hit that goal! :) good job!

  • i know i need to rest. especially since i do for horrible, but i'm so sad to take a break when i was seeing such good results! it's so disheartening! but i will most likely at least wait a week before i even go low impact.
  • thanks so much everybody! :)
  • i just finished my first day of week 7, and i totally agree! I could not believe how tough it was! my whole body is STILL shaking! although i was super excited that i could do the pushups with my legs crossed, i think my butt was a little too high, but i'm basking in that accomplishment anyway. :) We'll see how sore i am…
  • http://mamabirth.blogspot.com/2012/04/guest-post-healing-post-baby-body-it-is.html http://www.diastasisrehab.com/diastasis-rehab.html These two links will help you more than you know. :) It is really good information! I hope it helps! :) It talks about the damage pregnancy and specifically c-sections do to your abs and how…
  • i've been watching garage sales and such and just got a whole bunch of nice clothes for $20! :) make sure you're looking there! and don't be afraid of salvation army or goodwill! :)
  • I'll start 7 on wednesday! excited but heard they are killer! :)
  • I am half way through- I have lost 5 lbs but 20 inches! :) I also went from being able to hardly do 1 real pushups to doing them the whole time, along with all the crazy modifications she does! Also, I started out with 3 lbs dumbells, using 8's now, but thinking i need to get some 10's! I went bowling yesterday, and I got…

  • i'm on week 5. :) My goal weight is 135 my starting weight on this program was 177.8 my weight now: 172.8 but i have lost 18 inches this last 5 weeks! :) I can use 8 lb dumbbells when i started off with 3's, and can now do 15 "real" pushups, when before I could hardly do 1!! :) it's an awesome program!
  • i have body revolution. :) Just finished up week 5 and have lost 3 pounds and 10 inches! and this is not following the meal plan that she provides but eating 1200-1600 calories a day. I started off using 3 lb dumbbells, now I am using 8's, i could only do 1 real push up, and now i'm at 15. that's HUGE progress in such a…
  • When i go through this, i think about that i have to eat 3500 more calories (per gained pound) about my TDEE (which is about 2500 for me) i KNOW i didn't eat that much, so it must be water weight. Your muscles retain water when worked, so it's possible (esp. if this is your first time actually weight training) that is what…
  • i read that they don't go away- they just get harder- Jillian adds kicks to it, and then adds WIEGHTS! ohmygoodness..not looking forward to that one!
  • yay! good job! today is my last workout day of week 5 (cardio) I hate workout 5. it stresses me out its so hard on my upper body! :( I have no upper body at all! (this is a lie- i didn't have any until now! 10 real push ups baby! ) I did think that the workouts were a little bit easier the 2nd time around, hopefully even…
  • that's awesome! :) I'm 5 weeks in too! how much inches/pounds did you lose? :)
  • thanks for all the replies! I was thinking about doing the like a spike day but a burn day. :) and about the zumba calories- i realize this is not normal. our zumba instructor all the time tells us that at regular zumba classes we wouldn't even burn half of what we are burning here. it's alot of dancing and toning, and…
  • it's honestly wonderful. We do alot of really fun dances to popular songs. it seems like every other zumba class is in slow motion! haha
  • my zumba class is the daddy of all zumba classes. haha it is really intense. i don't personally wear a heart rate monitor, but everyone is the class who does burns 800-1200 calories in 1 hr. so i'm guessing on the low end. :) and i don't use "fat free dressing" I use the organic thousand island dressing. Thanks for the…
  • you aren't eating enough! I get dizziness and cramping on days where I don't eat as much as I should! You should be netting at LEAST 1200 calories, and eating back all those exercise calories you are burning! You're body is probably beginning to hold on to that fat because it needs it's energy!
  • any recipes that use ground beef, just substitute with the turkey burger. :)
  • i've been doing it for 2 1/2 weeks. and have lost ALOT of inches. :) I'm not following the meal plan but using whole foods and 1200 calories. :) I have only lost 4 pounds, but i have 1 in off my waist, 2 inches off my belly fat, and 3 inches off my chest/bust. :) Those are my BIGGEST areas i needed to lose and haven't seen…
  • oh! and i also now "crave" whole foods and veggies. Before i would crave junk, but now I love my cauliflower and carrots and want more!
  • Absolutly! I used to LOVE coke and root beer, but now that I haven't drank it in months, i drank 1 on my sis's wedding yesterday, and the sugar was way more than I could bear! haha it was crazy! :) love it though.
  • you won't get bored! every day you're doing a different workout. not ANYTHING like 30DS. I got bored of that because i need change. but for example the schedule is: day 1: workout dvd 1, day 2, workout dvd 2, day 3: cardio dvd day 4: workout dvd 1, day 5: dvd 2, and day 6 cardio, then rest, repeat for 1 more week, and then…
  • THIS! i have considered this many times. I would love to do it and am hoping to still achieve it. I'm getting there slowly though. Taking a few extra steps to not have them and keep adding to it. My goal is by the time I'm pregnant and have children, both of these things will be 80% out of our diets. I leave room for…
