I used to eat a lot of products based on gluten and other vegetable protein. To reduce eating processed foods, now I just stick with natural options. I add 100 gms of cooked farro or cooked quinoa to all my salads. I can easily make a very filling meal for about 400 calories using these combinations.

Your food intake looks very good, but your calorie burn looks excessive. Are you using Fitbit to account for calories burned? My suspicion is that you are overestimating the calories used.

Take it slow and easy. Keep your goals realistic, say 30 lbs during the first year. You should have a scale to weigh your food, and log everything you eat. Good luck!
-
None of the above are low calorie options. Make sure you have exercised enough for a 1000 calorie deficit before you step into an Indian restaurant.

If you have only 29 lbs to lose, you could postpone your weight loss until after your bypass surgery. Given your COPD, spinal arthritis and heart disease, you should consult your physician first before you embark on a weight loss program.

That is very low for a breakfast. You will feel very hungry by 11:00 am and will end up having a high calorie snack. A combination of Slim Fast, one egg and a fruit cup (80 cals) will bring you up to approximately 350 calories. But this will keep you happy till lunch.

Salads for lunch and dinner, low fat yogurt, granola, fruits, Slim Fast etc. My diary is public if you want to check.

You may need serious behavioral modifications. I am/was in the same boat. Here are a couple of thoughts: Never lose focus: Keep a monthly calendar stuck to your refrigerator and mark every day as a success/failure. Avoid junk food locations: Stay away from cafe, cafeterias, etc; do not buy and stock high calorie foods.…

I tend to agree with macr0babe above. I grew up in India where it is really hot. People drink a lot less water, and pee a lot less frequently. The OP must consult a physician to check whether she has any bladder control issues.

With your current life situation, dropping 46 pounds in three months is a tall order. You could achieve 5 lbs per week. There is no secret strategy on not cheating. I had to lock my refrigerator and mark every day I cheated on my calendar. Have you thought of getting a weight loss partner with whom you can work out with?…
-
Oh yes. Most of us have this issue. We have to deal with this by behavioral strategies. I weigh the appropriate amount of food in the kitchen, and eat it in the dining room. By doing this, I don't have access to the extra servings of food to binge on. I usually keep some calories for two pieces of Hershey's Dark chocolate…

Is water retention a real thing, or pseudo-science? I was under the impression that our bodies control how much water it retains, unless you have renal problems. Where is it retained?

Don't worry about macros. Weigh and log everything carefully. You also seem to eat a lot of processed food. Isn't it possible to make a healthy salad at home for dinner? Also, you should try to exercise for 300-400 calories every day if you can. I can never lose weight by eating less.

Your bike computer may not be reading correctly. Try a gym with other machines. Perhaps a treadmill, and walk uphill. All nutritional information, and burn rates are approximations. But they work most of the time.

Low fat yogurt, half serving of granola (90 cals), blueberries, grapes, pineapple, etc for 350 cals. Don't go below 350 cals. I drink a bottle of slim-fast some days plus a fruit.

"It Works" works well for the guys selling it!

You will be successful ONLY with counting calories. You will not able to ensure an adequate calorie burn every day unless you are logging everything.

Starbucks make a good unsweetened iced green tea. I add Splenda or Equal to it to make it sweet, but zero calories.

If you want to lose weight, you could eat less instead of going for a very high intensity training program. How long have you been doing this? In my humble opinion, it is very hard to sustain such regimens over long periods. Slower rate of weight loss is more likely to be maintained.

Open diary for everyone
-
Why do you want to do this? Weight-loss achieved through fasting is hard to maintain. Also, you will be very tired on those days.
-
You could add you dinner pizza into the log in the morning, and then work out to get the calorie deficit. I also try to eat a low cal lunch on days I eat pizza.
-
Slimfast (190 cals)

You should open up your diary to the public. We cannot give suggestions without seeing your daily log.
-
Your goals are a bit unclear to me. If you want to tone your belly area, you must do specific exercise regimens. The diet plans look OK to lose/maintain weight.

I do workout every day. Either I play squash (intensely aerobic) or walk on treadmill (more relaxed). I cannot stay within my daily calorie limit if I don't work out. If you can take a day off without messing up you calories, go for it. P.S. One cheat day and one freebie day per week?? That is too much. You are unlikely to…

In this article the blood glucose reduction was 4% with vinegar and 2% with placebo. This is a very small reduction. However, I do drink sugar-free lemonade/lime-ade to suppress my appetite.
-
Eat anything you want, as long as it fits within your limits. My suggestion is to log your dessert in advance. Then you can manage the rest.
-
Eat as many eggs as you want, as part of a balanced diet staying within your calorie limit.
