There's a big difference between soap and detergent. Pretty sure it's ok to use laundry detergent, not soap, but read the instructions to double check. Soap leaves residue. I have the same HRM, same problem. Bleck.

What you put into your body is very important! It doesn't matter how much you are working out if you are still over eating or eating crap.

Drink better coffee, the flavor quality will make up for lack of sugar.

Find some jazzercise videos on YouTube and try to do them. This is what I did to determine I never want to attempt Zumba, dancing just isn't my "thing".

Idk about how many calories it burns but it defiantly helps to tone my stomach. I have a light weighted hoop and go for an hour. I really enjoy it a lot.

I second the rice cooker. I love mine and you can do sooo much with it. Super easy, fast, cheap and healthy. Total win.

Protein powder, I like non soy. Beans, lots and lots of beans. Whole grains. Greens. Nuts. Nut butters. Good luck! I'm (almost) vegan trying to up my protein, it's been pretty hard, but I'm doing it.

I also bought the walmart/danskin one and love it! I got the 10 pound one ($20) and it's really helped me a lot. She goes at a decent pace, and really explains everything, but not to the point where you get really bored.

Vaseline= petroleum=crude oil. No way would I ever rub that crap all over my body, grosssss....and I'm pretty sure it doesn't heal either, just protects. Try making a lotion bar, super easy.
