    at first, i honestly thought that said "catch a manatee" and thought "yes. a nap after catching a manatee is appropriate...you'd be tired."

    This would be an EPIC thing to do when leaving work 3 hours early.. it is now one of my goals.. I like manatees, it would be fun catching one.

    1. go out to eat
    2. a movie
    3. gym, if he wanted
    4. enjoy alone time without kids! (oh wait, my youngest is 16 months, so wnjoy nap time lol)


    DMV though, heck no! I agree with the kicking part....
    I would be in a pretty bad mood

    Who the hell asks their SO to get off work early for b-day or any other reason to just go to the DMV for 2 hours...that's BS. He should have gone to the DMV on his own and been waiting for you to get home...naked and ready to roll with all of the chores out of the way.

    That said, these would have also worked for me:

    1.) early happy hour
    2.) cook something beyond the average quick weekday meal
    3.) Gym

    I did this just yesterday.

    Had enough of work, decided to take the rest of the day off. Stopped off at the Pet Food Store to get my kelpie some Bones and ended up adopting an Abused Short Tailed Cattle Dog.

    Been looking for a companion for my kelpie for about a year now, and any of the dogs we trialed didn't work.

    When i got her home they instantly became friends, started sharing bones and sniffing around the yard.

    Guess everything happens for a reason.....

    If my wife is off the hours early, some "us" time.

    If it's summer time, nice long bike ride.

    A walk...or the gym...a nice long relaxing bath would be wonderful. Working 12 hours today, so not much extra time for anything else.
