Wow I went through this this week and the 3 lbs I gaind back really smacked me with reality. Guessed we have to keep moving forward no matter what. Loved the idea of fat pictures in a bathing suit. Thanks for posting its always great to find out you are not alone in thinking/feeling something.

I have really found that in the month that I've been here that its ok to allow yourself to check one in a while. Just be carefull of the portions and don't let it become a habit too many times. And on the plus side the cheats taste so much better when you only get them once in a while. Had pizza from Roundtable last night…

Talk to your doctor about your weight loss plans and they can either recommend a nutritionist or a goal of calories. As Myastyme says the calories need to be full of nutrition. Get rid of the diet soda and try Lipton Diet Green tea. Good flavor and lower sodium than most diets. Stick to the gym as much as possible. Lettuce at lease once a day. Water, water, water! And keep a good attitude and focus on your dreams! And its ok to have a trat once a while just watch the portions and make it worth it!

Well actaully, talk to your doctor. My profile gives me 3000 with out exorcise but my doc told me to be on 1500 + working out for the near future. Your doctor will always know best but you can use the reports here to show the doc what you are eating and he/she can then make recommendations.

I've switched from sandwiches to salads at lunch, just wanting my calories and food and exercising in general and I've lost 8 lbs since joining MFP. I am totally excited right now!!!!

All I can say about your on and off situation is communicate. My wife and I didn't and she ended up finding someone else and walking out on myself and our kids.
