I bought size 16 pants today.... I changed to a healthy lifestyle at 38 wearing a size 24 and TODAY I celebrate my 48th birthday and also celebrate that although it has been a slow journey it has been a successful journey!! I haven't worn a size 16 since 1990!!!

Jillian Michaels Master Your Metabolism is a great read for someone entertaining the transition to clean eating. Initially I got it from the public library then decided it was worth buying to add to my collection of healthy living books.

Started level 3 this morning doing modified version... jumping is rough! Still pretty intense! Spent too much time figuring out body positioning!! Guess its good that I am doing each level 15 days!! :ohwell:

Hey just completed day 11 Level 2.... I am doing each level for 15 days and taking measurements before starting each level. Level 1 results were very good, I lost over 6 inches 4 of those from my waist... Pumped me up for level 2 and can't wait to take the measurements next Tuesday when I get back from a long weekend…

Day 4 Level 2 done!! Sweating up a storm... working on balance... seems to be improving a little, Great workout!!

Day 2 of Level 2. Realized after day 1 I need to work on balance with this level. Jillian says its will get better as we get stronger. Also needed to do some additional modification since I can't be bouncing on the knees.

I have a few main cookbooks that I use... one that I absolutely love is the Comfort Food Diet Cookbook. It lists the nutritional value for each recipe which is a requirement of any recipe book I now own since my husband had a heart attack a year ago. And the recipes are quite tasty.
